Tip for grenade: Bind a button like Mouse button 3 or 4 for Quick Throw. Also fuck this boss. My god.

What a horrible boss fight, how did this shit pass any sort of QA?

a few tips 1. never double dip, when he finishes that green charge you must get under the table you cannot get another mag into him even with a 971 at 900 rpm, 2. always flash before moving to a disable point, flash for cryo, flash for coil, flash for shock, 3. the final part is the hardest the map is designed in a way to make it nearly impossible to get to without him using the middle path to completely side step your trap (this is on purpose to make a already dumb fight dumber) you will fail this step multiple times if you get past this step do everything in your power to make sure he doesnt kill you and you get him on the table **DO NOT WORRY ABOUT DAMAGE** 4. on the shock phase the map is made in a way that going to the right when you leave the front door puts you against the trap wall if you go right /suicide now cause you will have to reversal him 5. he gets faster with every damage phase you pass without a speed build at the 25% stage you **CANNOT** outrun him 6. he uses grenades as a long range attack if you have issues where he spams them hug the large wall that encases the middle wait for him to move at you THEN go up the stairs 7. the poly artifact can eat one of his railgun rounds and one of his grenades its the biggest crutch for this fight 8. when doing the shock phase you can one phase it simply stun him on the table and run as fast as you can if your lucky he should go all the way around (a way i found to get this more consistently is to stop just shy of shock wall till he starts moving) 9. DOUBLE FLASH FOR SHOCK, flash him then hit the button on the ground level get back under the table then flash him again before moving to the button you can one stun this BUT you have to be fast 10. his rifle is hit scan there is no missing you on accident its a RNG dice roll, do not let him get line of sight on you for long everytime he fires that gun with line of sight its a % chance he will hit you THERE IS NO DODGING IT. 11. there are two ammo boxes in the starting room USE THEM if you run out of flashbangs your fucked. 12. his grenades are custom coded in a way that breaks the grenade system if he fires them you need to put yourself on the opposite side of the map, there range extends far past the indicator, they do 4x as much damage, and have 4x as much range as a f1 THEY WILL KILL YOU AND THEY CAN GO THROUGH WALLS 13. flash banging him during his grenade stage can cause him to not shoot grenades or stop early 14. if he is shooting his gauss rifle he is immune to flashbangs more often than not 15. if he is not facing a flashbang by more than 20% they wont hit him (this is why a lot of people fail the last stage or say flashes are bugged they arent he just works on flashes the same way you do if hes not facing them directly they wont work) 16. his melee has two forms a stomp and a punch, THE PUNCH IS A INSTA KILL THE STOMP IS NOT. using a tonga (one of the weakest purple suits in the game) you can survive a stomp with 25% hp left but a punch WILL insta kill you 17. his rifle ignores all bullet resistance as it does 50% true damage NO MATTER WHAT ARMOR YOU HAVE HE WILL TWO SHOT YOU WITHOUT POLYS (3 shots to arms/legs and 1 shot to head) 18. he more often than not wont grenade you if your under the table when hes ontop BUT HE CAN do not trust it as being completely safe if he goes to nade flashbang the pillar and stun him then pray the nades dont kill you if he got any off (NEVER GO TO THE BACK AREA GO FORWARD TO GET AWAY THEY WILL GET STUCK IN THE BOX) 19. your not bad the fight is, this fight has zero effort put into it its made in a way to force difficulty there is no mechanic you can abuse there is no clever trick made by the devs there is no counter he is faster than you, hits harder than you, and gets full damage immunity at stages THIS FIGHT IS DESIGNED TO BE UNFUN ON PURPOSE THERE IS NO ENJOYMENT INVOLVED THEY WANTED THIS TO BE OBNOXIOUS things that make this fight easier: speed build (artifacts that make you faster make it easier to avoid him and get to traps easier this is especially good for final stage), larger mags (not having to reload as often means you can do more damage more often this doesnt make the fight easier it makes your attempts faster), polyhedron (this artifact will eat a railgun round or nade completely negating the damage on a 30 second cooldown if white [better with higher tiers] try to have one before starting this fight it CAN and WILL save you), grenade launcher (having a under barreled GL can be very useful in this fight due to its raw damage output just be warned you will often loose that ammo on death and it will vanish so employing one is usually a one time thing and you have to be VERY careful if you use one), do not do this fight if you dont want to, its not required for you to complete this however it does allow you to pretty much full skip a premaster suit grind which is extremely good at the early stages however if you already have masters gear dont fucking bother doing this fight its not worth it at no point will it ever be worth it i know people who have spent 8+ hours doing this fight and trust me at the end of it you will not feel better because this fight is made to be unenjoyable your gratification for completing it is a single suit voucher and a pat on the back if you already have good gear that voucher is fucking worthless to you....... as for exbo i dont know which of you fucking retards passed this fight off as ok iv completed multiple souls like games i know that a hard boss can still be fun to fight this is not it this is a boss thats entire premise is how much bullshit you can pull before it becomes impossible to beat the fight requires you to cheese it if you dont have a specific purpose built build and by that point there is no reason to do it either you need to make him not deal nearly as much damage or make him half as fast as he currently is at no point should any boss be impossible to outrun and able to insta kill you at the same time no matter your gear. this one fight alone killed the game for multiple people i was playing with some of whom had zero interest in the game past this point if it meant this was how you would design future boss fights one even went so far as to pay someone else to beat the boss for them im more or less in the same boat especially with the news a third questline is likely coming in the future which sucks for your design team cause the questline is actually good sadly your designers are fucking awful and dont know how to make a boss.

He randomly becomes immune to flashbangs for some reason but the table itself works great 28.08.2024

They fixed it :/ it still kinda works for a bit, like for first 25% of the fight, but then he starts randomly shooting grenades everywhere, no matter what

12/8/24 still works, I figured out if the boss is on top of the terminal you are finding under he wont shoot grenades, so if the first time you are too far and he fires grenade jsut quickly get out jump down and back up under the table again. For the freezing and coii part I think not shooting the boss at all and just run straight back under table is best

Was able to get him down to 10% on my own twice, then found this guide and managed to finish him off thanks to this trick :) Completed whole storyline in stalker tier science suit and akm

Thank you for this, time to try! Worked out in the end. For anyone struggling, never fear hiding under the table multiple times per stage, he will remain on top of you and you can reload and use meds or whatever you need. Take a smoke break even.

Still works (01/08/2024) makes him a challenging fight not impossible tysm for this

Tell me you didn't play test a single boss fight without telling me, this cheese almost becomes obsolete with his grenades. At this point the loot isn't worth it, I'm about to remove the game from my account.

now he throws grenades if youre far away from him, so you need to stay in his line of sight then run into the cheese spot, but ive had him still use his grenades after that so idk if the cheese still works
