This was a beautiful sculptured supercell we chased in the Maranoa region of SW Queensland during a moderate storm outbreak period throughout the region. A big thanks to Justin Noonan for being a great chase companion over the few days we were down there, I look forward to getting back ASAP.

Category 3 Tropical Cyclone Damien making a direct hit on the remote mining town of Karratha in Western Australia. This storm was producing peak winds near 200 kph and featured a clearly visible inner eye wall structure as the center tracked over our location.

Short documentary of my complete chase experience covering the landfall of Category 3 STC Damien on Western Australia's Pilbara coast back in February. Clips of marginal tropical cyclone Blake delivering much needed rain to the west Kimberley coast as it passed close to the community of Broome. With the system being rather weak it produced only marginal gales for a short period.

Category 4 Typhoon Kammuri made a direct hit on the city of Legazpi in southern Luzon causing damage to a large area of the Bicol Peninsula. Thanks again to James Reynolds from EarthUncutTV for being a fantastic chase partner as he has been on many chases before.

Conditions on at our location on the Izu Peninsula of Japan as Typhoon Hagibis came ashore during the late afternoon of October 12, 2019. This system unleashed fierce winds and wild seas that battered the coast for several hours before going on to produce sustained hurricane force winds up in Tokyo Thanks to James Reynolds for once again being a fantastic chase partner! A few clips of the preparations taken for a possible landfall of Hurricane Dorian on the Florida coast. Thankfully the system remained just offshore prior to having a much bigger affect on the Carolinas coast. Beach erosion was however still quite a big issue on the barrier islands. Clips from the dash-mounted camera as we documented the landfall of Typhoon Francisco on the east coast of Kyushu, Japan. As this system nudged north from our initial location we raced up the coastal highway to intercept the inner core of the cyclone near Takanabe. Quite a vigorous little typhoon in the end that may well have had its intensity underestimated.

A few clips from our chase of STY Lekima on Japans Ryuku Islands. The dangerous inner core of this system remained just offshore while the secondary outer eyewall ripped across the island causing hurricane force winds and torrential rain. Tough to shoot under night time conditions unfortunately. Thanks to James Reynolds from EarthUncutTV for hanging out on the chase once again.

A few clips from our intercept of Typhoon Francisco. This typhoon had quite a small footprint and made some abrupt deviations in track on approach to landfall in Kyushu so took a little bit of work to position ourselves to sample some of the strongest winds. Full video to come.

A few quick grabs from the season so far throughout Tornado Alley USA.

This tornado was on the ground in many different forms for well over an hour before we pulled off it NE of Dodge City KS well after dark. Unfortunately we saw it destroy at least two homes.
