Pretty sure Giroud has a sprained ankle that he’s been carrying since we played Vancouver back in mid october. In that game he landed on his ankle and it folded real nasty. Since then, he keeps grabbing it every time he goes down.

awesome game from our perspective, felt justified after falling to you guys in the exact same fixture last year, admittedly to the much better side. (having said that, I'm pretty sure the ref had a black and gold jersey on underneath his kit last year) - Last night, LAFC players just didnt look up to it. Defense was so easily navigated around and through. I always like to gauge if a team or players are 'up for the it' or willing to fight by watching their initial reaction to conceding goals, and in those split seconds after conceding all 3 last night, so many LAFC guys looked like they were checked-out when the 2nd goal went in. No reaction, no sign of emotion really, no one shouting motivation or leading from the front. Something we struggled with all season long was having an identity around the 18 that wasn't just hoping Gauld or White get on the end of balls. Now, we have built a really clear quick touch one-twos betwen Gauld,White, Fafa, Ahmed. Armstrong is also adding a huge amount of composure for big games. For us now, Caps have a week of training in the pouring rain and travelling back down to you - so we need to really keep the fighting spirit and come into the game knowing we can beat you at our best. However, LAFC going to be going into this arms swinging. Either way, Im proud Caps have been able to take you to game 3!
