CHINA VLOG: Beijing pt 2

I'm almost 6 months late, but at long last, the 6th and final installment of China Vlogs! I returned to Beijing for a few days to wrap up my 3-week trip. I can't fully describe how amazing this trip was and how thankful I am to have had my dad with me, to have gotten to spend time with the family I had not seen in 13 years, and to fully immerse myself in Chinese history and culture.

Fifth vlog! I headed to Qingzhou, my dad's hometown, to spend a few days with my family. My dad and I also took a day trip to Qingdao - land of beaches and seafood.

For the next leg of my trip, I return to Nanjing, which is my mother's hometown and where I was born, for the first time in 13 years. Though I didn't film much of my family (except my adorable niece), they were the best part of my trip.

My parents and I drove to Chicago for a few days! It was freezing cold and there was a lot of walking involved, but it was so nice to spend some quality time with my parents (who asked to not be included in the vlog).

Hi, i enjoy your video. But i'm little bit confused 'cause it written 19th June your tour went to Panda Base Chengdu and then went to jiuzhaigou also, and in trip to jiuzhaigou you were went to Songpan too. How could it be? Because i read that Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou need 8-10 hours drive. If you went to Panda Base about 8am and 1 hour in there, and then 9am went to Jiuzhaigou, you will arrive about 5-7pm and it means that jiuzhaigou park has already closed. And then 20 June you went to Huanglong. I plan to go to jiuzhaigou from Chengdu so i try to read about the trip. And i still confused about the transportation on going to Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu. Is there any train from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou?

Beijing has great infrastructure. There are probably trains, bus or taxi from the airport.

Hi Sarah! I booked a tour group that bused us from Chengdu to Juizhaigou! I think it's one of the easier ways to get up there :)
