MSV track day at Bedford Autodrome, 3/12/21. Approx 4c all day, damp track, with areas of dry, very slippy conditions. Car running on Nangank NS-2R, fronts brand new, rears a bit worn but still plenty of grip. Possible the compound at rears sub-optimal after several heat cycles. But also very difficult to get heat into the rear tyres, resulting in very little rear grip and lift off oversteer at...

Obviously I wasn't timing on a track day, but this was as near I got to a clear lap. NS-2Rs past their best.

Cadwell Park suits hot hatches and it's great fun. Car set up: Pollybushes, coil overs, geo. Stop tech BBK Minor engine breathing mods and map 240bhp. Sump baffle and shaft delete oil pump.

These are such great fun, what they lack in power they make up for in excellent chassis geometry, damping and brakes. Being strapped in to a stripped out car makes such a big difference on a bumpy undulating track like the ring.
