Northern Lights Landscape Cane Polymer Clay Tutorial
Here's how I made a Northern Lights inspired landscape cane using a skinner blend, the credit card technique, and some chopped up clay!
(I know the audio isn't great but this took me forever and I wanted to get it posted!)
Supplies & tools:
- Sculpey Premo purple, cobalt blue, wasabi, white gold glitter, gray scraps
- pasta machine (also used: NeverKnead machine)
- credit card/gift card
- acrylic block
- sharp blade

I laughed so hard when the video cut at 15:50-16:07 It was like one of those memes that’s like “draw a circle and just add a few small details” and then the artist skips and it goes to this fully detailed drawing I laughed for a good 5 minutes, I love this tutorial and can’t wait to try it myself

My thoughts on getting more purple would be to lay a thin strip of the blue clay over the pink, just on the outside of the purple that you do have, and blend a few more times. Your other commenter is right, you are a great teacher! Direct, to the point, clear and brief with no extraneous chit chat! Please keep at it!
