Egg Custard Tarts (6 Servings)
To make the crust, combine and mix flour, sugar, salted butter and water (see ingredient list below) in a bowl to make a dough.
Roll out 30g salted butter on a piece of parchment paper on a flat surface and chill it in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll out dough on a flat surface. Fold the chilled butter inside the rolled out dough several times for a multiple layered and crispy crust result. Then roll the buttered dough into a log shape and cut it into six portions.
For the custard mixture, mix milk, sugar, heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract together (see ingredient list below) and add an egg yolk last and combine all ingredients well.
