Michelle does NOT need to see Leech Woman, she's so revolting! 🤢
Man I miss these couple fights! haha…. my cheeks hurt from smiling the entire time 😊 . I usually watch youtube to fall asleep, but I was on the edge of my bed till the end… I have issues.
Well this episode was fun 🤣 crapping on each other like there is no tomorrow hahahaha seriously though excellent episode guys....
Not a fan of Terrifier 3. I was disgusted by it and not in a good way. It does things that are just morally wrong… coming from a SAW fan that should say something. T3 is the devil
Don't watch Harold and Maude, whatever you do! lol
Never heard of that one, lol.
You did it again

I seriously don't understand why people watch anything more than a teaser trailer...and even those I avoid. I stopped watching trailers well over a decade ago. I can tell whether I wanna see a movie from a poster and a couple of stills. Checking a trailer after I've seen the film, I'm just floored most times that multiple 3-minute trailers is still acceptable by people.
Yeah, it’s crazy when they release multiple trailers.
I love this channel….but Ken, that thumbnail O-face. Please stop.
At the old age of 56 three hour movies at the cinema are impossible, my bladder can't hold out that long 😁😁
Haha, I’m sure!
If you aren't Martin Scorsese or Francis Ford Copolla then you have zero business creating a 3-hour movie. The only exception I'd give is a film about a major historical event, like Titanic or war movies.
Yeah, a historical event is a good exception!
Great video. I will add that I am tired of watching grown adults play teenagers. The Breakfast Club actually casted actors and actresses that were high school age. Current movies have mid-twenty something adults in high school. You know how much we mature from 16 to 25? Speaking of 80's movies, get the darn hair right! We need mullets, perms, rat tails and stone washed jeans.
Oh, that’s a good one and it’s been happening since forever!
Yeah. 3 hour films only work if its really a great unfolding story that progresses. Zodiac is the perfect example of when it works, and It Part 2 is the perfect example of not only too much redundancy that just drags you down, but another complaint to add is using cheap cgi to get the job done.
I definitely agree on the Disney live action one. I kind of liked Burton's Alice in Wonderland, but I really don't see the point of rehashing the animated films that were done quite well the first time around. Also agree on the length of movies. There are certainly movies that use their longer running times well, like the Godfather films or Lawrence of Arabia to name a few. But it seems like today every film runs long, and in most cases they don't need to. The art of film editing seems to be lost these days.
13:23 Depends on what you mean by the "old days." Because if you think trailers give away too much now, watch a trailer from the '60s or '70s and you'll basically have the entire film summarized for you in 3-4 minutes. (Trailers for *The Graduate* and *Carrie* come immediately to mind.)
I’m sure it’s always been a thing but have they always released multiple trailers for a movie?
Snow White remake a p.c. abomination. Trend of movies with woman 25+ yrs. older than male = p.c. subtle extension of titillating news headlines involving female teacher preying on young male students. Movies too long interesting subject...some of my all time favorites are 2 1/2 hrs. and longer; most all from the 60s thru 90s...Lawrence of Arabia epic style, Ten Commandments, or Wim Wenders' masterpiece Until the End of the World at almost 5 hrs. These long movies dovetail well imo with home theater, I break them up in about one hour segments and relish for 2 to 3 days over about a week period. But totally agree on longish movies with way too much boring filler material....gotta get all that required politically correct messaging/inclusion in there. Excellent point about trailers giving away too much info and how the art of interest generating trailers w/o spoilers is missing. Amen on old school practical special effects trumping new age cgi digital crap! Finally, a lot of all these complaints can be funneled into the dime a dozen "made for" movies for Netflix, Prime, Max, etc. Too easy to churn out crap with easier and quicker digital movie cameras, smaller more portable lighting, etc. A lot of these p.c. movie makers/directors/cinematographers would fall on faces if handed a larger film camera where they couldn't shoot copious amounts of footage (digital). This was a great video commentary, thank you both!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Ken ain't about that woke life.
Nice video guys.....now to put my thoughts into this subject i can agree on some points you make like with the trailers and all those remakes. On the other hand i don't mind the special effects all that much (if done right). To want practical effects back is like wanting 70's and 80's movies back to today and that's just not going to happen again when it comes to action and sci-fi movies. People who say that are the people you find in the arthouse cinema's and complain that everything is too much and instead watch 3 hour movies that make you fall asleep after the first 15 minutes. Now don't think i don't like good drama's or movies about real life events but complaining ain't helping things going the other way. The only way to make studio's listen is by stop buying tickets for their movies like people did for Joker 2....Warner will definitely think three times before green lighting another Joker movie hahaha. All i am saying is when it hurts studio's in their income they will act so as long that there are people willing to pay for 80's nostalgia turned into a modern movie the studio's will continue making them. To make my little contribution to this conversation is that i hate the fact that people are complaining and whining about movies way before they are even released on social media. I truly believe social media is the death of movies (and music as well) which is very annoying to me. So-called influencers see the movies in advance and get to spoil everything for other people way before anyone else can see the movie. I never read or watch anything from them because i want to go into a movie open minded and form an opinion for myself. That was how it always was before internet and how i try to keep it for myself 🤗
I totally agree about the trailers. I never watch trailers anymore. I will maybe watch a teaser trailer. I also hate when the "thing" in a movie is given away in the first act whether it be a monster or an idea or whatever.
Yes, totally with you on that one!
Classic forsure ❤
Yes! 👏🏻
yes reboots and disney movies is not good

I feel like I've already seen Smile 2 based on all the trailers. Movies over 2 hours are painful.
What's the ending since you've seen it all
@@cordcuttercam Glad they spared us the last two minutes of the film in the trailers.
@BobBoozle not really , they only show you what you wanna to see other than that we don't know what's actually going to happen storywise
@@cordcuttercam i feel like I can fill in blanks left from thr trailer and come reasonably close to the actual movie. If, Speak No Evil and It Ends With Us were predictable in the same way.
@@BobBoozle nope you can't
“I threw up 85 times in the theater watching it!” 🤣
🤮🤮🤮
Any movie longer than 45 minutes is too long for Kenny and Michelle. They got the attention span of a house fly.
Be nice James.
All true. Thanks guys.
Glad you agree! Thanks for watching!
Disneywars failure had nothing to due with fans and everything to do with bad writing and zero long term planning. This is entirely due to horrible leadership. They should have had a full outline for each film, character arcs for each main, and a singular vision for the series. The films don't flow with each other let alone the other trilogies.
Reboots and legacy sequels are the worst offender
I'm with you on three hour movies. That runtime should be reserved for historical epics and the like. There's no reason a slasher like Terrifier 2 needed to be 2 1/2 hours long.
Point well stated, the grand vista style epics...I mentioned above Lawrence of Arabia, Ten Commandments, Ben Hur, Spartacus. But some newer ones too....The Irishman, Wolf of Wall Street, Zodiac, and more I'm sure.
Totally agree! DO LESS!
I’m with you Ken, I think content creators are some of the first to jump on that brand new film. The thumbnails are also a big thing.
Great video! I like how y’all bounced around different topics&opinions
Thank you, we appreciate you!
I don’t mind a long movie. Heck a movie could be nine hours as long as it has a good story good script I would watch it.
I believe the only things that should have part ones and part twos or movies that are based off books that are extremely long and like the Harry Potter movies the final movie is broken into two parts, but they filmed those two movies back to back so you had one movie come out one year and the next movie come out the next year that’s what they need to donot wait like three years for another part
Yeah, I do feel like movies broke up into parts builds up the suspense and excitement.
My pet peeve is the trend of "girl boss movies" I'm looking at you Star Wars Disney. Super unrealistic when a woman acts like Superman without much training or is AWESOME overnight. The Acolyte is the WORST offender in my humble opinion.
That’s a good one!
I do hate 3 hour movies too especially if it's just pointless padding...I say bring back intermission like back in the old days:)
Some of my favorite movies are 3hr movies from the 90s and early 00s... With no padding, a lot of 3hr movies are 3hrs for a reason - there's literally more story to be told and further opportunity to more deeply get immersed in that world
ah, they had older men/younger woman in Hollywood as far as I can remember "especially" classic movies...this is not new, lol. it's a classic man's fantasy since time began...I'm sure women fantasize about younger man at some stage in their life too:).
I grew up with Disney also, but I do enjoy some of the live action movies and I definitely agree with Ken I don’t like when they try to reboot a franchise just leave the original franchises alone and make your own thing I usually don’t mind sequels as long as they’re done very good and not done like crappy
Endless franchises like Fast and the Furious and found Footage Movies in general, are two that come to mind.
When they make money you make more
@@cordcuttercam I can still be sick of them.
@@robertsaul234 you can still opt NOT TO WATCH THEM
Man, some franchises never stop! 😂
@marriedwithmedia when they make money you make more , it's plain and simple
I wholeheartedly agree with both of you on all points. I would have to say my #1 gripe would be the remakes. So tired of that. Have a nice night! 👍
Thanks so much!
It flop because they made it into a musical. Nobody wants to see that.
Musicals are definitely not for everyone!
🎥🩸👍👍👍

Huge Def Leppard fan! Love the shirt. ❤ The Fly is indeed a classic, Ken. 🎉
Thank you!
I live in the UK and was able to recently pick up The Fly collection blu ray box set from Amazon US (I have a region free player). I haven’t seen The 80’s version of The Fly probably in about 30 years but have never forgotten how brilliant this was. I will of course be watching the original trio from the box set first before getting to the 2 80’s ones. Great video to choose to do a review on.
