I just checked and the copper bulb mechanism works just like bedrock. you might need to change the item elevator if it doesn't work the same in java but this sorter works for both Bedrock and Java

@Weedwey that is completely fair this design uses a batch sorting type so it sorts x amount of items at the same time where x is the amount of items in your hopper clock minus 1. Which feels very slow. I wish you luck on your research. If you want to add a layer of complexity but increase efficiency, you could look into item categories. This design unfortunately requires you to choose capacity or speed. I chose to show the capacity version for tiling purposes. The speed version brings up the speed to full hopper speed. But you have to do forward facing chest for two block tiling. If you want, you could try that as well if 1 block tiling doesn't matter to you. I would be more than willing to show you how, if needed. I really appreciate your honest feedback

I Just tested it in java and it should work make sure to place the items in the unlocked hopper to start it.

@@Bestguy_Wesk With glass for the redstone dust, the signal wouldn't go down a level, only up. I switched the "middle" level to be stone, that allows the signal to go both up and down at the same time.

@nikomo interesting, so glass can only go up in java. As you probably saw, it goes both ways in bedrock. I am always entertained when a small difference like that shows up.

Each chest needs something in every slot so that wrong items do not go into wrong chest. This will cause the items that do not match to wait until the copper bulbs flip states. Once they do the next hopper will take the items and try to move them into the next chest that hopper is connected to. This continues until it is rejected all together or finds the right chest.

That is a interesting idea. I like the idea of stream working together to complete a goal to receive a reward but i don't know if Full king powers would be the answer. maybe some of the powers would work well like free channel points store for all.

true! but you would still have to deal with the wither. For a end game farm there is no issue but if you are not there then that'll be a little more of a task.

OH NO!! that might be a little bit of a oversight. but simply adding a trap doors and limiting their potential movement should encourage them to drop into the lava to get them out of the mob cap/string.

@@Bestguy_Wesk thanks! I finished tweaking the stage counter. Although wheat has 8 stages, including when planted, I needed to place 2 more hoppers because the observer sees the water twice. Once as it comes and once again as it leaves. And thank you, I might look into it. I wanted to do Redstone mostly off my own skill this time.

what music would you recommend out of curiosity? I chose the current background music because it sits in the background and doesn't get in the way of my voice.

a lot of the music from undertale (its a indie game made my toby fox) has really good background music you might want to check it out
