My Layton Exclusif lasts a long while on me. I got my bottle a while back so not sure what it’s like now with newer batches 🙂

I get a rich warm, sweet leather quality with a dry incense. Quite addictive. A real mixture of hard and soft qualities. Unisex but leans on the masculine side to my nose. An enjoyable fragrance - not worth a full bottle purchase for me but it might be to others 🙂

Yes Exclusif definitely had some extra character - I like the OG but as you say, the extra darkness and depth to the Exclusif makes it my favourite out of the two! Thanks for your comment

Thanks for your comment! Personally, I didn't love the perfume. I find it a little mature for my taste and a bit dated in style. From the marketing, it seemed like it was going to be a modern take on a classic perfume, but there isn't anything particularly modern or unique about it. If you're looking for a modern vanilla-based perfume I think there are better options for example Babycat by YSL and many others. If you're looking for a classic evening scent that is floral and woody, you might be better off sticking with Chanel No.5 or something like that.

@@simmscents I think he offers in-store discounts, and of course you can spray and test them too. He's one of 2 small British indie houses I like. The other is Freddie Albrighton, a very talented guy who makes great perfumes. I'd say that Freddie's offerings are more in the "artistic" vein, while ATH's are generally more mass appealing. Both worth a look.

Yes the guaiac wood is definitely prominent! So many words for this fragrance, I enjoy it so much. Wow I checked Notino the other week and it wasn’t that cheap! Great buy.

@@simmscents Yep. If I liked it I'd definitely be pulling the trigger. Fortunately for my wallet, my 10ml decant will be more than enough for me 😂 Not my favourite scent, although i appreciate PdM doing something different.

Hey, firstly thank you for your feedback! I'm glad to hear people are enjoying my videos so far. Cologne Cedrat is a very soft fresh, yet creamy citrus, with a background of pepper. More in the nature of say a Creed Viking to my nose. Definitely smells like quality. If you're a fan of Chanel AHS you'll like this I think!

But of course as I always say - sample it first - it’s not a blind buy , regardless of how nice I think it is - Matiere Premiere do very affordable samples!

I'm glad you enjoyed the review. Falcon Leather is a really great scent. Even on the scent strip, it has been filling my room for over a week. Hopefully it will do the same on skin!
