I'm convinced it's fake and I'm very surprised at how many people think it looks very convincing, especially experts in VFX and CGI. I know it's fake simply by looking at the eye-blinking movements, which are obvious CGI. The way the forehead and brows move during blinking are just clearly CGI, I don't really know what else to say, nothing else even need be considered. Look at the eye-blinking moments and it's just over. I also think that authentic footage of this kind that has existed for so long would have been leaked much sooner and would have been known (at least by a few die-hard UFO people) pre-Internet.

This one looks a lot more 'believable' and genuine than _Jonathan Reed's_ 1996 footage, a man who claims to have videotaped an autopsy of an alleged alien creature whom he killed in the forest with a stick after the 'alien' attacked his dog.

In the orginal video you can see a Dog reacting to the object as well. The Dog looks towards the object and start barking.

Who knows what it is, but the reality is that many UFOs were/are shown hovering above the sea and some very close to the seas surface. We cannot rule out that these things are coming out of the oceans/seas. Some ancient non human but from our very earth species that has been here for thousands of years, perhaps even much longer than us humans. We just might always shared this world with species that are not extraterrestrial ( aliens) but earthlings. The oceans are only 20% chartered and mapped but only 5% we only physically seen or been to. The oceans will never be 100% fully explored for it is 70% made of our planet, which makes it the perfect hideaway for beings of unknown to exist and have their civilization living amongst us, but only deep in the oceans...bases that only opens for them, because only they could enter. Far fetched? Perhaps, but out of the question? No.
