Ok to be fair at first the whole district's town watch was going to chase you, but then you left the city so they delegated that affair to the one soldier who was just outside the walls

The crazy thing is that Bethesda's system of "pay fine, go to jail, or resist arrest" has not changed since Oblivion, and if anything, has regressed somewhat. I just wish they would at least try to implement something more complex. For example, stealing a low-value item from a merchant might not get you arrested or fined but it could result in the merchant refusing to sell to you for a certain amount of time. Or maybe have courts where you can persuade the magistrate to give you a less harsh sentence. Just something more than "stop, you violated the law" for any and every offense.

It's pretty crazy how far the guards will go in this game i remember one time where i got caught lockpicking the guards in Bruma chased me all the way to the mountains. I thought i had lost them found a bed rested, then decided okay i'll climb the mountain a bit higher and was attacked by bandits after i killed them went back to the bed to rest and was not able to due to enemies in the area. I look to my left the guards from Bruma were they're chasing me and one thing lead to another with no fighting chance i jumped from a high point of the mountain to a lower part of it and almost died on the landing (Thank you Acrobatics) and then all the guards that chased me one by one all landed dead next to me and serious these guards are to committed lol

I've run into that one a couple times. Not sure why it happens or how to duplicate it. Looks even stranger on a bald character. 0:20 Interestingly the first time I ever had this glitch it also effected Shaun. Maybe he's got something to do with it although in my most recent run it happened long before I even rescued Nick.

for fixing it you would need a mod. many use the name: brown face and rust face,.incase you want it fixed.

They are literally black-facing.

This is actually a pretty common bug in the game that never got fixed. It also tends to pop up more when you have multiple texture mods affecting npcs.

It’s the black face glitch. I’m not sure why it happens, but you fox it by saving and loading your save.

The only way to fix this without mods to my knowledge is to reload a prior save before the glitch afflicted

It's not a glitch, it's a mod conflict which is caused when two skin textures are in conflict which results in them cancelling eachother out causing a black face on the character

you're gonna get cancelled by the Publick Occurence

probably cause of mods or ur custom config. if none are tampered then i have no clue
