@@miloandwarren Not sure if am right but Mallet was a guy's last name so for a loco a to be Mallet it had to be made my him. If am right Rare Wikipedia L!!!

@@miloandwarren Like the way Wikipedia uses it as a synonym for articulated also implies a Double Fairly or a Garrett would be a Mallet but if you ask any rail fan if that was true most likely they'd say no right. I feel like I've said to much without giving you a chance to answer.

Thanks for watching, the rolling stock in this video have Aristo Craft metal wheels. As Aristo Craft metal wheels are hard to get so I now use Bachmann metal wheels to replace the plastic wheels on Aristo Craft rolling stock.

@@miloandwarren Very welcome! Yeah I understand, I asked because I also wanted to replace my Aristo plastic wheels with metal ones, but if you say Bachmann are good as well (I suppose you use the 31mm ones?) I think I'm gonna go with those too. Thank you!

@@AleLGB Yes I use the 31mm Bachmann metal wheels and they fit perfect and Bachmann are a bit cheaper than the Aristo Craft.

If you had some rain there is a good chance you can go out and play because there is a lot of sand on the court and the water will Soake into the sand.

Once the sand settles the court will look green.

The synthetic grass surface is made in New Zealand and the only information I have is that it is "T1000 Olive synthetic surface with 75mm baselines". I don't know what the surface it self cost, but for the completed installation including the synthetic grass was $46,500.00 Australian dollars (November 2020). Custom Court Constructions purchase the synthetic grass from New Zealand and did the installation, for more information their email is ccc10@tpg.com.au

Thanks Ferrovia for your comments, I belong to a train club and the Stainz in this video belong to another member, however I do have 4 Stainz of my own, my first Stainz is a Black #2 and my second is an Anniversary 1835-1985 Red #2 Stainz with matching carriages my third is White #2 and my forth is an 100th Year Anniversary 1881-1981 Red #1 also with matching carriages.

A lot of court owners use roof and gutter silicone to repair their court, it's waterproof and holes really well, hopes this helps.

Expensive maintenance

Hi Daniel, with out the sand, the court would play very slow and lots of bad bounces resulting in a very unenjoyable game of tennis. The sand gives the court a hard surface to give the ball a good and normal bounce, an artificial grass court plays very much like a real grass court with out the odd bad bounce.

They have to put sand on it.

It's for drainage and to keep the carpet in place. There's almost no point of going for this surface as the sand will affect playability

The lander cars were built from 3mm perspex heated in an oven and bent into a U shape, masking tape applied where windows were and painted. Follows an article in AMRA Journal where a guy built Spirit of Progress cars back in the 70’s. The Lander cars when built in 1980 cost $1 each.
