Wow man, this is a helluva comment alright 😅 Thanks for the effort, BTW. I guess I'll be adding some updates to this answer of mine, I just can't answer it on one go. An answer in installments, so to say 😅 Yeah, well, it took some practice to keep the phone steady, the first recordings on my former channel were way shakier, but since then I've been gaining skills on this field. Indeed, zooming adds a plus to the recording, and I've been experimenting with this in former shows, but I am somewhat reluctant to do this, for it is a risky business when recording in 4k with this android of mine, one has to be very careful when zooming in this mode because a sharp and sudden image jump may take place when zooming out too much, so that in this case the smooth flow of the recording gets broken. It is a very finely tuned way of handling the zooming option one has to perform by way of sliding the tips of the fingers on the android screen, the recording could get ruined quite easily if one is not very careful, and well, adding to this the numbness caused by cold air currents makes zooming a damn risky operation, so zooming may be more suitable when the show takes place in warmer places or during a warmer season. I mean, I really feared that I might end up dropping the device due to that damned current of cold air blowing upon me during the whole Faun show. And yes, I know what it means to struggle with arm cramps, this show here I recorded it just like that, having my arms completely vertically positioned for one and a half hour ruclips.net/video/LIpOW5O4Bjg/видео.html But recently I have started using a Joby Gorillapod as a practical handle in order to gain more stability and to be able to raise the camera a bit more up in order to avoid recording heads in case I can't get to the very first row. The next spring will be very fruitful in terms of shows, many loved bands will be playing here in the first quarter of the year, so I may be starting to zoom again provided all conditions concur in an overall favorable situation which does not put the smooth flow of the recording in danger. I'll be checking that playlist of yours alright.

​@@co-il-lusion You did a great job. I completely agree with you about the awkward zoom function on a phone camera - I would do the same and film without it. You still have to get fairly close. One possible option might be a zoom remote if there is something like that available for a phone. I have one for my Panasonic camera which allows for a rocker to be attached to a tripod arm so a person doesn't have to reach high for long periods of time and can work the zoom with a finger without straining. I know some professional media guys who film static without much zooming. Also it is amazing how well the sound came out from your phone. One earlier camcorder I used sometimes had distorted audio when filming in a club. Phone cameras have really advanced a lot - it is a good option for a venue with professional camera restrictions to have as a back up, Usually I am filming with a tripod and fluid head. I saw your video where you were holding your phone camera high - the light show came out well there - it looks high quality. The pain from arm cramps can be pretty bad sometimes from filming long periods of time. One camcorder I had would go out of focus occasionally during an intense light show. I thought you were using a tripod it looks so stable - there is probably good stabilization in the phone, but it also takes a lot of practice. It would be nice to be able to teleport and go back in time to film the whole Faun show during the Luna Tour, and some earlier tours. Good luck in your future projects.

@co-il-lusion igen, szerettem volna viszont látni magamat valamilyen formában, kerestem a felvételeket. a hajó fényképészei rendszerint sokat fotóztak, de valamiért nem lett feltöltve a koncert fotóalbuma az A38 oldalára..

Well actually it could have been a better recording, but it was nearly impossible not to move to the rhythm, mainly towards the middle of the show, and being at the corner made it rather difficult to maintain the right degree of vertical orientation. Those standing neon or LED tubes were helpful in this respect, BTW. But this was by no means a long recording, way longer ones have been done before.

Azt én magam is remélem, azok után hogy ennyi időbe beletelt, míg végre itt is felléptek élőben. Egészen elképedtem, mikor az Oliver bejelentette, hogy ez az első alkalom. Egy május végi fellépés szabad ég alatt s kék fények nélkül az mondjuk jól hangzana...

@@co-il-lusion Elvileg nem most voltak először, hanem huszon .... akárhány éve :D. Akkoriban nagyon friss lehetett a banda, még én sem igazán ismertem, talán csak 1-2 dalukat. Hogy miért nem mentem el, meg nem tudnám mondani. De jó sokat kellett várni az újabb fellépésre. Az instán láttam, hogy jönnek, és amikor ott örvendeztem, derült ki, hogy annak ellenére, hogy úgy reklámozzák őket, mintha most jöttek volna első alkalommal, nagyon is tudták, hogy nem. Még poénkodtak is, hogy vagy 100 éve voltak itt utoljára. Igen-igen .... egy májusi fellépés tökéletes lenne (ha már lehet álmodozni), ugyanis akkor van a szülinapom. Egy szülinapi Faun koncert ...... hmmm ........ szuper lenne!
