I hadn't thrift in a little while, and I'm glad I went today. I found a new to me brand Monroe & Main. Started grabbing fall pieces.

I have just now started getting into shoes. I am more of a boots person so I have already started grabbing boots and booties for fall. I recently found a nice pair of Frye, Pendleton Ariat zip ups and Born boots. If they were my size I would keep them 😅 I also love to pick up kids shoes and boots for a kid resale stores.

Odd, lots of those tags were not Goodwill tags, looked like Salvation Army, I wonder how they ended up at the bins.

I usually get discouraged when other sellers say I they don’t like $7-$10 profit. Because sometimes that’s the profit I make. But your explanation about the $7 croissant was perfect and made me giggle

This week I just decided I won’t do more Platos or Uptown Cheapskate dropoffs anytime soon, bc I am so done with them. (I just shipped all of my unwanted items to Thredup) Teenager girls messing up my bin to decide to buy 3 items from me for $12. And treating me like I would be a grandma (I am 40). They are just very unpredictable and inconsistent, so its not worth my time/effort. 😢

As a former optician I couldn't help but notice that when you were in your car, early in your video, you were squinting noticeably. But you didn't put on glasses. So I looked back at several other videos and didn't find any with you wearing glasses. So I'm curious as to when you last ha your eyes checked by an optometrist? I have a feeling you may need glasses and not realize it. It was surprising how many patients we saw that were only coming in for a by-yearly eye exam and were sure their eyesight was perfectly fine, only to be surprised that it wasn't quite as perfect as they thought it was. So here's an early symptom to check. Try driving at night to see how well your really able to see and read road signs. If you need to very close to them to read them you very likely need to be wearing glasses. Far too many put off getting their eyes checked like thy should which is at least every other year and the same with getting their teeth checked. Did you know that an eye exam not only checks your eyesight but can also determine if you have diabetes or even a heart condition in some cases.

I think the cute Zara flat sandals might be girls. I am from Europe and I know that usually girl shoe sizing goes up until size 35 and the women shoe sizing starts from size 36. Sometimes with european sizing I just measure the length of the insole to make it easier for the buyers bc it is so confusing and so inconsistent.

Just found your channel. I went to the San Antonio bin’s today and also found Clarks sandals. Fortunately I found a second pair that were rubber banded, because at that point I noticed the first pair didn’t match. So I end up with both the mates and they look brand new.

Sometimes I use a paper nail file to clean or a hard stiff brush also. If their is long suede threads & lady shaver helps. 😊
