EW Deadeye for sure has chance to do incredible damage in late game raids but only if the player who is controlling the deadeye knows 1) all boss mechanics thoroughly 2) warmed up properly to not miss a single cast 3) hit every single cast. Pretty much the only way. Whereas other DPS classes can do the same amount of damage if not more whilst not doing the 3 aforementioned steps to even 1/2 of what the Deadeye player is being asked to do. EW Deadeye is a specific class for a specific type of person and it's usually for people who genuinely enjoy "grinding". This is a class that requires imo, 4-500 hours of play to feel fully comfortable in just the rotations of your 16 skills let alone understanding all of the boss mechanics (yes even in the bare NA/EU release) thoroughly to the point where you aren't wasting excessive pots and or spending the entirety of the fight on the ground.

I changed to pistoleer for an unforseable future as I made close to 1 mil dps and i have more freedom. Lost ark Devs lying when they said EW has a good dps.
