Been there. It is worth seeing. Nearby is a musical ‘Ludwig 2’ about the mad king in a fabulous theater built for it. Do not miss that either.

I've driven through there! My fav parts were the homer tunnel and the chasm
Homer tunnel is scary with a motorhome and traffic in the other direction. The feeling we could touch any of the other vehicles was always there :)
