I never liked genesis. It's basically just a run salvager for floor 3+, with a lot of annoying downsides. You'll never use it on a good run, and the chances of getting it in a bad run are too low to be worth it - if you can even get a chance at the angel room item pool in such a run in the first place.

I'm not Dead God, but it's worth noting that Repentence-era Devil Deals are a lot less savory than their earlier counterparts due to changes made to the Devil and Angel Room item pools. A Devil Deal involves a much greater commitment (you pay hearts AND lose out on Angel Rooms for the rest of the of the run) for items of equal or lesser quality, whereas skipping the guaranteed Devil Deal guarantees that your next deal will feature the Angel Room. Not only are Angel Room items free, they don't prevent you from receiving future Devil Deals. Devil Deals feel more thematically appropriate now, but they're generally only worth it if you don't think you're good enough to get that postponed Angel Room on later floors OR are suffering from a paucity of damage or an overabundance of health.

Judas is ceremonial robe it just feels so satisfying being able to enter a devil room and actually being able to buy an item lol

If you have photoshop you can take those item pngs and press ctrl alt + I (or just resize image in edit menu) and choose nearest neighbor interpolation, and add a zero to the end of the resolution to make it 10x larger. Then when you bring them into an video editing software, they won’t get blurry like you see in this video
