Beautiful
Fine job sir. I’ll be making one this week for my father-in-law.
Nice work
This was a beautiful build. Sorry for your loss. I'm in the process of building an urn for my pup and I will definitely draw inspiration from this.
Nice work man. My condolences.
I've built a couple myself. Not a fun project but a satisfying tribute to honor a person.
Used to do woodworking for many years. Seven years ago my grandson was in a motorcycle accident. He didn't make it. Parents were split up. I built two urns for for his ashes. That was the last time I built anything of detail. Can't stand to be in my shop. It has turned into a over grown catch all shed. Maybe one day I'll clean it up and finish the projects that I was working on. Y'all stay safe.
A beautiful tribute to him. May he rest in peace.
Powerful stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry for your loss. Very nice build. Simple woodworking with simple tool produces excellent results.
🙏😢🙏R.I.P Chuck.
He looks so familiar to me. Did he have his own youtube channel or something?
No but he was well known in the fishing community in Florida. Had a podcast. People called him Red Fish Chuck.
@@zwdesigns im an avid fisherman in California, and im thinking ive seen him before i swear! He looks extremely familiar to me. Anyways my condolences and prayers to you and your family. God bless you.
Beautiful tribute. My condolences to you, and all his friends and family. May he rest in peace.
Your dedication to the fine detail lets me know how important he was to you. So sorry for you lose and God bless you! (BTW, its beautiful)
I made one for my brother 2 + yrs ago. He was a woodworker, scrimshaw artist and worked in many other mediums. I gathered his unfinished wood carvings and some scrimshaw pieces he had carved from mammoth ivory and personalized his urn with Celtic symbols. Not as beautiful as yours, but I simply couldn't not make it myself. Talk about a tough one. My condolences.
That’s awesome. Would love to see it.
How do you get the ashes in?
the bottom screws off
A beautiful Urn and a wonderful tribute for your cousin. Have made a similar urn for a loved one's children and it was an honor to have done it. Yours will be a small monument to a well loved man. Well done.
Sorry for your loss. It is really tough to accept, in my case anyways. There are way to many young people passing away. In 2016 alone my wife and I lost 7 family members including my Mom who passed away in June of 2016 and my Father in Law 6 weeks later. My Father passed away on July 8, 2022.
Sorry to hear that Mark, Loss is never easy but we need to use it as an opportunity to grow!
So sorry brother. Amazing work on an amazing project. I know it’s not the same, but had to let my dog go 2 days ago, will be making a similar box for him. Thanks so much for sharing!
Sorry to hear that.
Chuck will certainly rest well. So sorry for your loss. ❤
Enjoyed the procedure of you crafting the Urn, learned a few ideas, like the bottom feet that I will use on a box I am making. sorry about your cousin Chuck.
Beautiful work and loving gesture. Sorry for your loss.
I want to do a small box similar to this for my wife. She died in 2010 & was cremated & the plan is that when my funeral is we’ll do her’s & hope that we can put her in the casket with me. Thank you Sir I appreciate your help. Again, thank you Sir
Sorry for your loss. That sounds like a great plan. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!
@@zwdesigns Thank you Sir, I appreciate your offer
nice job....
I had to build one in January 2022 for my son Daniel, who was killed in a car accident at 42 years old. It was a sad project, but one I just had to do.
Wow…so sorry to hear that.
@@zwdesigns I really appreciate that. Keep up the great work.
@@patdornan47 It just Sucks to bury a child. I had to do that in 1979 don’t think that I’ve been the same since.
