The Forgotten Prodigy: The Story of Oscar Dos Santos
The stupidity of writings and then reading it, when he came to Madrid in 2012 - he didn't have preseason with Real and he had Euros... But in second half of the season 2012/2013, he played great with Alonso or Essien, he was playing defensive midfielder... Next season 2013/2014 Real Madrid won with Modric, Xavi and Kehidira won CL
He played great, but not to the levels he could have played as in front of him he had two other great midfielders in Ozil and Alonso, the fact that he struggled with the leagues physicality is apparent, he did play a lot but only because Real played more then 50 games so there was a great need to rest players, if he was great or not i might have been mistaken, maybe he played incredible and i was just not aware of it, but through the articles i read and the things i looked at, nowhere has there been mentioned that he played well
Again this might be a mistake on my part and me not doing my research well enough
Boateng is one for the books
I'll hold my hands up and admit i made a mistake on hom then, i don't personally remember Boateng that well, not just for the Messi incident, but since some of you say so then i must have been mistaken
I dont watch football as I used to, but the croatian generation of 98, Thiery Henry and that dutch guy with the glasses always fuel my nostalgia. And Oliver Kan!
Edgar Davids !!! Such a beast, Oliver Kahn is one of my fave goalkeepers all time, i loved his aggression and passion for the game, Henry is top tier as well one of the best wingers ever in the prem
You got Bastian Schweinsteiger in the wrong section bro. Tins of people remember him
Nvm man the more I watch ur list the more I feel u where a casual fan really boateng at kinda forgotten ? Was the best defeder for 3 years wth
Yes however after those 3 years he kinda faded into obscurity, people don't put him in the top 10's of the 2010's i did say that in mu opinion he was a beast, but after he got humiliated in the CL he slowly lost his shine
I did say i wasn't sure on Schweinsteiger and that i might have waffled on a few, which is perfectly fine, i respect the fact that we have different opinions on differents players
Great video, real happy you put Mandzukic in class of their own because he was a beast.
Mandzukic was so good, one of the most letal strikers in the last generation
Keep up the good work
Thank you much appreciate the support :)
There will be no one like him
One of the greats for sure
The missing piece in every managers team
The link up between defence and offense, what a player
If he had been in man city he would have even finished in the ballon dor podium any year
Yeah, such an underrated player, speed and agility really make him special
Rakitic video next
You won't believe it, but Rakitic is actually one of my first videos but i never published it, i'll touch up the script rerecord and put it out someday don't worry

Hi nice video but one question how do u get the clips for your video
Thank you man, i just do reseach (a lot of it) on youtube
My friend's and I always talk about prime dybala of his days in Juve. He made us fall inlove with the game even more due to his pure talent and of course his trademark mask celebration Forever in our hearts La Joya!!!❤🙌
One of the best wizards of the game no doubt La Joya 💎
Nice video. Thanks.
Thank you man much appreciated :))
One of the best footballers i have ever had the pleasure of watching. I truly believe that he was the true successor to Del Piero.
Most certainly one of the greats, i love his ability to move with the ball snd his touch of gold
This feels... Cold, factual, soulless. Dybala is one of the few ballers left who are actually always good to *watch* even if he doesn't score. Stats don't really do him justice and holding his "defensive" game against him takes away from what he means to football as a player. I hope more kids watch him and want to try different ways to dribble around defenders and scoring goals by deceiving keepers and placing it where they least expect. Dybala was like Zidane in terms of his movement and ability. He can change a game when he's given the ball and allowed the freedom to express himself.
I think there has been a misunderstanding, i didn't say that Dybala sucks at defending so he's a bad player, what i'm saying is his lack of defensive awareness is a hinderance when we try to find a position for him, i agree with you Dybala is an incredible player to watch and when you said "Stats don't do him justice" i said that word for word in the video, but yeah overral i agree with everything else you said, he's an incredible player that rightfully so deserves the priase that he's earned
@@Mezzala4231 I get you, all respect bro🤝🏾☕

good video !!
Thank you mab really appreciate it, thanks for the support
For a brief period of time in Juventus, when Dybala and Cristiano gelled together very well, is the closest thing in my opinion that we got to see what it would have looked like if Messi and Cristiano played together.
Maybe yes, this Argentine talent mixed in with CR7 it's unfortunate that they were a bit uncompatible as types of players, it would have been really interesting to see them performing at their top, but yeah your right in they did kind of create this perception
Who would you pick between Dybala🇦🇷 and James Rodriguez🇨🇴?
Why are you destroying me 😔 but i'd probably go for Dybala, but it's very close just for club bias because he plays for my team
How about you ?
@@Mezzala4231 sorry for destroying you 😅😅 I would go for Dybala as well. But maybe if there was a video about James Rodriguez (🙃), my opinion would change 😉
Then you are very lucky to have stumbled upon this channel if i do say so myself 😂 although mind you my James video was done in my old style so it's quality might be a bit worst off
@@Mezzala4231 The content is what matters at the end of the day💁♂️💯
I thoroughly enjoyed the video as always 👌. And you're right stats don't show how good Dybala is, you have to watch him play 💯
Thank you for the support, glad you enjoyed the video and yeah cause his stats for some years seem average at best but then you watch him play and he's a completely different player
Here before u become famous So don't forget me

Peter Drewry Esque❤😭❤👌. Or is he your father, uncle or someone you know closely😂😂😅😅
Yes i always had that quote from Peter Drury in my head, actually one i started to script out the short, that was the first thing i knew had to go in there, one of my favourite monologues from Drury, i actually have no relation with him i just admire his work
Bro you misse Thiery Henry 😭😭. I know he also plays ST. But he also plays as a winger. I know it's your opinion but like you made the Kovacic Comparison, you can also accept Henry was the best foward player to ever grace the Premier league
I didn't put Henry simply due to the fact that as you said he can be considered for multiple positions, just for that reason, i know he's a pure left winger but he had multiple years when he played center, he's one of the greatest for sure
👋 I really enjoyed the video very much. When I was watching the video i paused to check out what channel is about and read the description. I read your Channel description and loved the phrase football nerd😅, because without realizing it I'm one as well😅. Because of the description and the video you've gained a subscriber in me
When the algorithm recommended this video I had to click on the video because I've also noticed how Serie A is much more competitive than the prem in the sense that there's always a different champion in Serie than in the Prem. Everything about the video i loved i can see that you're starting your journey as a content creator, and you'll improve. But in this video I genuinely liked it. I learned the things i didn't know about Serie A. The graphics, images were good. The area you can improve it is the audio for when you are narrating, its a 7.5 out of 10. If i were to rate it💁♂️. But overall I the video is great, can't wait to see you putting out more content and to see the channel growing, wish you all the best 👌👌
Thank you man really boosted my morale, i appreciate the kind words and also the pointers, yeah i had some personal stuff take off recently, but now i'm back at it, already recorded a new video and currently editing it, but i appreciate the help and the support
Messi has more than 100 man of matches meaning Messi is better than his team players and opponent players. So it means ronaldo is not at Messi level. Messi is a better man on the field far often. Wheres is Ronaldo close control.
Where is Ronaldos world cup. Messi was blamed fot not having won a world cup with a noy so good Argentina. Why did that great Portugal team that won the Euro final without Ronaldo not win a world cup with Ronaldo. Ronaldo fans say a Euro is harder to win than a world cup so it would be easy for that Euro winning Portugal to win a World cup with Ronaldo. Penaldo is selfish he wants to take everything.
Yes though not winning the World Cup does make, Ronaldo come a step down to Messi, i don't think it's fair to use this as an argument, cause a World Cup depends more on the entire tram rather then an individual player
@@bsph6504thr only reason say world cup because it made messi goat argument stronger if anyone actually thinks cr7 better they don’t know football messi carries the team more than cr7 knockout tournaments don’t value players their is a reason messi won more league titles
@@Mezzala4231it’s only argument because penaldo fans are the worse fanbase cr7 fans say rigged world cup
ask deschamps why france was bad because he’s the reason why
I should yeah, unfortunate for such a great team
@@Mezzala4231for some reason deschamps was lazy mbappe literally had to players this is world cup final we should be playing better than this in the locker room
nope inter will win the seria a the next 4 years or juve to me it will become a two team league
Hopefully they make it exciting at least, a double battke at the top, been a while since we had one
the problem is the media and ronaldo
I'd say more with the media trying to portray a rivalry
@@Mezzala4231i assume you still think messi is better but both should be respected or no ?
Never said that both shouldn't be respected of course they should be, but it's the media's fault for trying to put them against each other and make us choose
@@Mezzala4231 facts i agree
messi the goat 1 top scorer of la liga 2 he has more ten out of ten performances 3 has way more assists 4 more golden betts and ballon dors 5 messi can dribble past. 5 players cr7 has never done it while scoring a goal 6 he actually has 2 trebles cr7 zero 7th messi has more msn of the matches than cr7 8 th messi performances better an big games 9th cr7 is a international fraud zero good performances in big tournaments while messi actually did something with hiquin who can’t score 😭😭😭
Top scorer of La Liga but he played longer in the league, ten out of ten is subjective, because these things are decided by journalists, basing themselves off the personal opinion of jouanlists, again for the Ballon D'Or it's based on a journalist preference, the thing about the trebles true, Messi performs better in big games is again very based on personal opinion, however before CR7 Portugal had 0 titles now they have 2
@@Mezzala4231 did you even watch euros 2016 cr7 was the reason they almost got knocked out the group stage and got carried in the knockouts stages
@@Mezzala4231jounlets that actually understand football
But Ronaldo also has 3 goals and 3 assists during the torunament, i can't say i watched all of Portugal's game cause my team actually made it decently through that tournament so my focus was elsewhere
Whether they understand football or not, it does not change the fact that some could have a biased opinion, do you think a portughese journalist would vote for Messi ? Or an Argentinian Journalist for Ronaldo ? Not all of them are like that mind you, however i believe that some of them vote base off of personal preference, when the things get tight you can never know how much that influences
I think its Cristiano Ronaldo 100%. Let me explain myself: Cristiano Ronaldo is just more complete. He can do it all literally. Ronaldo doesnt have a weak foot, hes an elite Goalscorer im talking about every single kind of goal he can make it from everywhere with back heels, Right foot, Left foot, outside left foot or right foot, solo goals, ect... hes easily the best goalscorer of all time. Goalscorer: Ronaldo Passing: Messi Skills: Ronaldo Free kick Technique [PRIME]: Ronaldo WeakFoot: Ronaldo Header: Ronaldo Dribbling: Messi Prime: Ronaldo Speed: Ronaldo Strenght: Ronaldo Records: Ronaldo Longevity: Ronaldo Messi is a Legend no doubt but i have seen so many insane records of Cristiano and watched them both play... Cristiano Ronaldo has done alot with less. You have to analyze. Imagine Cristiano if he had mbappe, Neymar, Suarez, Thierry Henry, David Villa, Ronaldinho, Iniesta, Xavi, Griezman, Di maria, Lautaro Martinez, Eto and i can keep going these guys most of them could create their own shots and were Elite goalscoring machines, and im just naming goalscoring and guys thst are genious like xavi and Iniesta. What im trying to say is Cristiano Ronaldo would've had better numbers specially in Assist and better goalscoring numbers with xavi and Iniesta because they were unreal Midfieldiers. Cristiano Ronaldo never had that. Benzema never played like suarez and Neymar. Only in 2022 he was at his peak nd was at their level. Nd dont let me get started with Portugal. The fact he won Euros with Portugal and Nations league is very imprissive. I saw a insane stat that left me chocked. I dont remember it on top of my head but it was that cristiano Ronaldo had 15k passes and he made 18% successfull passes, messi did 30k passes and he had 16% passes completed. Ronaldo in the clutch is also not close. He has so many games in which he put the superman dress. He has the most goals of all time in winning moments or tying games. Ronaldo people say he has more games than goals offcourse he does he was a RM = Midfieldier since 2003 - 2007. In 2008 h3 became a winger. Which is more imprissive that a Midfielder R3ached that milestone of becoming the greatest goalscorer. That adaptation of playing different positions thats value. Theirs only 2 things in Cristiano Ronaldo career which are "cheating" which is 2017 champions league goals vs bayern... I got a counter: that Robben Penalty was not suppose to happen becuase he never got touched thats 1. #2: the own goal was not suppose to happen because when you see on tape bayern was offside. So what are we going to do about that? Real Madrid cheated and bayern didnt ? Double standard. Second time Ronaldo "Cheated" was 2013 balcón dor Ribery which I agree I think it should've been Ribery balon dor his numbers were good not better but great and he won everything. That being said Cristiano had 69 goals with 17 assist which is insane. That's why messi won 2012 balon dor his numbers were insane he didn't win because of trophys. And if CR7 did not win 2013 messi was second place. Either way they were not going to give it to Ribery. And if you analyze how hes been treated by the media they seemed to draw a image as hes the bad guy. Which hes not. ESPN, Fox sports, 433 ect... all the big media are against him. You watch a video of them Ronadlo had a hat trick and they still critisize him. They said he played terrible when he had 2 GOALS IN THE FINALS OF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE vs JUVENTUS. They critisize him no matter what. I value that hes so consistent and has by far its not even close the best work ethic of the sport But what is not Close is his mindset is on another level. I already said i dont value some1 that has more trophys. To value a player is by their skills and what can the Player do more and at an Elite level and thats Clearly Cristiano Ronaldo is a more complete player. Now you add what hes done with less help. The case is closed. Not even adding The case of Negreira which is already confirmed barcelona payed refs. And a ref yesterday literally said on a podcast i bealive it was that he helped messi not get a yellow card which would have been kicked out the game and not be able to play in Copa America finals. Like theirs literally corruption that surrounds messi. If you like it or not the facts are there.
how the fuck does cr7 win lonegivity with less awards won header it don’t matter how you score a goal records just because is literally messi
Yes i agree with you on Ronaldo being an incredibile goalscorer for me he is the greatest goalscoring machine of the modern game, however on your list analysing them i have a few disagreements, i can give you skills for Ronaldo cause i think he's just incredivbile with the ball for someone of that build, but you can't put prime only for the free kick tecnique cause then we either look at the primes for all the categories or none at all, i'm not gonna debate there tecniques cause different way of striking the ball i think is more sort of a personal preference, also for your section of prime, i feel that has to go to Messi, the only player to score 91 goals in a calendar year in his prime playing as a shadow striker, also longevity Ronaldo debuted one year older then Messi, in Portugal, he debuted when he was 17 and Messi did it at 16, he did come out 2 years before him in 2002 with Messi only in 2004, but he also went first into a lower league going one year before Messi, so can we really make the debate about longevity ? And while it's true Messi played with arguably better players but Ronaldo played with Modric, Bale, Isco, Rooney, Van Nistelrooy, Giggs, Xabi Alonso, Mesut Ozil, Kaka, Higuain, they both played with great players playing with great goalscorers just adds to it, it means that he had to share the stage and go for goal with a lot more players, which i think they both did, statiscallly speaking it's very hard to have as many goals as games, yes Ronaldo gets portrayed as this sort of bad guy his charisma does that to him, ity's obviously not true there are no good or bad guys in these cases, but i see your view on this
@@captainfalconmain6576 longevity clearly goes to CR7 he's older and has been playing better than messi. I watch both because I like both. At 37 CR7 was at the Premier league being top 3 scorer in the premier league and saved Man United From elimination in the group stage. Messi at 37 is in MLS. Ronaldo this year had 57 goals with 16 assist. Messi went to a less league League 1 and he scored 6 league GOALS ! 6 ! at 35. At 35 Ronaldo was scoring 40+ in Juventus being the Top Goalscorer in the league and winning titles. Theirs literally no debate Ronaldo has better longevity
@@Mezzala4231 I mean I get what your saying about Prime like im not talking about numbers because in numbers clearly Messi has the better Prime in numbers 91 goals is ridiculous. I'm talking about Prime of a Player like at his peak who did more, who was more clutch, who had more tools to their game, who was more valuable. who was more skilled. And that's Cristiano Ronaldo. He could literally do it all. And I agree Cristiano played with alot of great player not going to take credit away from Modric, Kroos, Bale ect... but we got to talk with Facts when you compare it's not even close the help Messi got not only from Barcelona but from PSG. Not only Messi got more help from Clubs but from Argentina as well. Like I said Messi is a All time great I watch both I enjoy both but we got to be real. About free kicks Messi has 65, Ronaldo has 64. Ronaldo in their peak Ronaldo was the better free kick shooter. He had more ways to make a free kick, in other words better technique and he has the numbers. Ronaldo has more free kicks in the champions as well the most of all time. They have a different style. Ronaldo if he wanted couldve played like Messi but the team needed a Scorer and sometimes assist. If Ronaldo played the style of Messi he couldve never achieved what he did because benzema was not that good on scoring and bale also. 2 amazing players but not players you rely on. Switch Benzema and bale with Neymar and Suarez, or switch Neymar and Mbappe with Dybala and iguain from juventus. Let's see who gets more stats of assist. Like it's night and day. Dybala I actually love him he's underrated but he's not mbappe or Neymar those players are just a different level and they help to get you morr open shots and you as a all time great make them better because of your presence and threat. You have to analyze. Nice video btw. It's nice having a convo no hard feelings. I respect your opinion just chating
Yeah yeah man no hard feelings, i respect your opinion as well, agreed on Dybala, love him such a fantastic player unlucky for his injuries but an unbelievable player to waych play
I would like to point out that man u was not in a dire situation when cr7 joined. They had finished 2nd
True, i should have specified that realised it after i finished recording, i mesnt dire more on a board level, with management that wasn't really sure what direction to take, bht yet you are right i made a mistake on this one
The content you are make is so good you should have at least 10k subscribers keep it up underated
Thank you man greatly appreciated, glad you enjoying the content
The biggest problem is the way media wants a duo in every sports.
True the media always tries to portray a big sports rivalry because it ups their ratings
@@Mezzala4231and money
I’m sorry, I just have to disagree. Messi will be in the discussion for the GOAT along with maradona and Pele. Ronaldo is the greatest goal scorer ever (along with Messi) and this will put him up there but not the top. There are reasons why Zidane, Cruyff or even Maradona are considered better than players like Puskas, Gerd Muller who scored way more goals. Because they were magical. Ronaldo… I’m sorry, just doesn’t have that.
No need to be sorry for disagreeing i actually love when people do that because it opens up things for debate, i see your point and it's true great players like Puskas and Gerd Muller are way more underrated then they should be, however i factor in media exposure as well, both Muller and Puskas hit their primes in the 60's and 70's, when there wasn't much media coverage, both playing for "lesser" known national teams as Gerd Muller played for West Germany, if one is not proper invested in the sport they might not know them, the three players you mentioned were hitting their primes in the 70's and 80's with Zidane in the 2000's, we all know what Cruyff did for the sport after his career as a footballer, they were peaking at times where the game was truely becoming the global game, there was a lot more money involved a lot more media coverage, a lot more skin in the game, people were getting into the game, i've seen people say that they think Ronaldinho should be in the conversation when both of us know that cannot be possibile, Cristiano Ronaldo has the fortune to be born in this world where everything you do is subjected to media attention, also another thing is his unprecedented longevity, he's been playing for 20 years at the top, Zidane left the national team and was slowly sprialling downwards by 30, how often do you see a striker, a pure goalscorer, score 40+ goals for 15 years ? Well into his 30's he's on course to becoming the second player in the history of the sport to score over 1000 goals at a major level, that's why i think Ronaldo deserves a spot in the conversation, i'm not saying he is the goat mind you, but i think he merits to be at least in the conversation
I'm sorry, i wrote a bit too much i get really passionate when talking about football, also it might be a bit confusing since i opened up different situations, so if you want me to streamline any given thing let me know, or if you don't wanna read it i totally get you :) no hard feelings nobody wants to read a 3 minute rant by some random dude on the internet talking about sports

L vid. Maybe more competitive cos all the serie A teams are poo nowadays... such a boring style and such a step down in quality... Serie A is almost at a point of needing to fold... It's not "just around the corner" from turning back to the 90s glory days... it's closer to ceasing existence altogether than it is to becoming a truly elite league. People arent watching it... italians included... sponsors arent interested... the financial power is dead... there is no allure or reputation anymore... mid range epl teams are better off than the best italian teams. The ONLY advantage is that most italians dont play well abroad, so many dont leave Italy and end up by default going to a "big italian team"... and now italy is going through a talent crisis after their old guard have moved on with little young blood to fill their shoes... so the league isnt exactly packed with superstars... as the national team is struggling to name one superstar... after theyve taken the tax breaks away for footballers in italy, theres even less incentive for them to play in a weaker league for less cash.... they need to do something ASAP to turn this sinking ship around. Crazy how quickly a traditionally established league has spiralled out of relevancy.
Firstly thank you for writing this down, i appreciate all the pointers i can get, but yeah i agree with you, i opened up a whole chapter on how tv rights and influx of cash is distributed unevenly, but i do not agree on the fact that Italy has no young up and coming players, both are youth teams, the u-17 and u-19 won the Euro's in their respective categories, the only reason they don't break through is because in Italy there exists this outdated mindset of loaning players out to Serie C or B sides and them staying there, but i agree with what you said the disparity in the league's competition is monumental, but the fact that Italians do better abroad is also an exaggeration, of the last team to play the Euros i think Italy had the squad with the fewest players that play in another league, i think the problem is the opposite the fact that they don't get enoigh minutes outside of the Serie A, most prefering to stay in the comfort of the Italian League Again thank you very much for telling me all this, especially the thing about the quality, i'll work on a fix for it and try to make my next few videos much better
@Mezzala4231 no my man, I was saying that italians often DONT leave Italy... we agree on that point, I wasn't commenting on your video quality, I was saying the serie A has fallen off... your video quality is fine despite me disagreeing with much of it
W vid
Thank you mate glad you appreciated the video
I was in Italy when they won the World Cup in Spain in 1982. How the mighty have fallen!
The good old days when italian players wetr renowned for their tough not forgiving defence
I'm not Italian but I really like to see this national team. Congrats your video is very good.
Thank you very much, i appreciate the support glad you enjoyed the video
Italy is rebuilding and it will take time. Its not like the old days ( and i remember them) when they just reloaded because they produced so much young talent and they were given jobs right away with the clubs because there was a limitation of foreign players rule for clubs throughout Europe. Bosman changed all that and Italian soccer has never adjusted to it and the clubs prefer to stock their rosters with cheap but established foreign talent because they need a quick fix because the clubs in serie A are in such dire financial straits now. There is talent at the youth level and the Azzurri need a coach who can pick the right players and give them the experience they need. Mancini did it with amix of older experienced players and young ones and went on a run of a world record unbeaten streak. Unfortunately Spalletti i don't think is right for this job. The results in the qualification for the Euro bear this out as they lost twice badly to an England team that was very lucky to advance past the knockout round. There are no great teams in the world right now save Spain and they also benefitted from a penalty not given for Germany. France without Mbappe is not much either. So the future is probably not as bleak as it may seem now provided Italy find the right coach.
Yeah your right, the pool of talent use to be legit insane, the Serie A as a whole is in a pretty strange situation atm multiple clubs indebt, with some not passing FFP Regulations so pretty weird as a whole, the youth setup is kinda ok, but it's gonna be useless if these young players keep getting loaned or sold to smaller clubs, are youngsters are good but it doesn't seem like we want to trust them, not like a Barcelona who fields a Lamine Yamal at 16 or a Manchester United who throws in Garnacho
