"We hold our position."
"They are being slaughtered. Lord King, I gave him my word."

So you cannot save the boy even if you reply bad?
I don't know. I assume that you can't because this boy's death is crucial to Shepard's mental state throughout the story. He has nightmares about him burning alive as you reach milestones in the war. Before the final battle, Shepard sees a mirror image of himself and the boy burning alive as they embrace and smile forebodingly at him.

The fact that the Harbinger's awesome voice does not even appear im ME3 after the massive buildup in the second game is unforgivable. Awesome rivalry wasted.
400 hours and a million playthroughs im still learning something new about this masterpiece everyday
You exist because we allow it. You will give us the 12 hour heresy video because we demand it.
@@Cappuccino_Rabbit I understand the ME reference, but not the 12 hr video part. Is that a meme, or did I promise a video I forgot about?
@@thenovicewhispers weird i don't remember commenting here (i was originally commenting om a Channel that just so happened to make a Mass Effect video but also promised horus heresy video), RUclips must've bugged. Feel free to delete my comment lol
@@Cappuccino_Rabbit that's been happening to me when I watch shorts as well. No idea why. Well, have a good day. 😀
Unfortunately Legion consigned himself to death when he said "you're more like us than we thought". Not because that's bad but because it implies the Geth were determined not to use reaper tech to attain unity, so why did Legion do a 180 after his captivity by the reapers and INSIST on using reaper code to ascend geth to true individual AI? It felt Antithetical to what Legion actually wanted, my FRIEND the real legion.
Due to new writers changing up the Geth story, making the quarians unnecessarily aggressive and trying to make the Geth sympathetic to the point that they were supposedly fully innocent. Honestly liked it better to where both sides were flawed, or not innocent. The wuarians made the Geth and eventually tried to get rid of them when they started asking those questions and due to other factors. The Geth fought back to the point it they nearly wiped the quarian race out, had flee, and would kill anyone who would approach them, be friendly or not.
You'd have to say the same thing about Mordin curing the genophage. Honestly, he should've been able to be convinced to walk away regardless of who was around.
@williamkerfoot8039 yeah except one is a logical conclusion formed on ones time with the Normandy Crew, the othee is deciding to potentially enthrall the geth
@clarencewalters338 No it's not. Mordin suffered from the new simplistic writing approach from ME3s new writing team just like every other character did!
@@williamkerfoot8039 Mordin already had the seeds for this character arc in ME2?

I wish we had a assassins creed game like this
We haven't had an AC game involving Tenplars since 2015, which is pretty crazy. World War II is a historical motherlode Ubisoft hasn't touched yet. That conflict would be perfect with a Templar setting. But for some reason they're afraid to have modern AC with cars, even though they've made three WATCH_DOGS games and two modern Ghost Recon games with vehicles.

Odd she calls Corvo young considering he’s supposed to be 39 years old In this game
That's actually realistic. She's at least fifteen years older than him. A lot of older people call their juniors "young man" or "young lady" to show respect. Just like juniors refer to seniors as "sir" or "madam," (not as common in the U.S. these days). Plus, she's hitting on him. She won't get what she desires by calling him old.
Dude I'm 40, and I think I'm young.
@@cameronrosen6910 You are young.
@@thenovicewhispers thank you. Now if you could convince my lower back, that would be great.
Nope. She calls him "Younger than she expected".
It looked like Corvo was practicing and failing only to get teased by Lydia
That's what it felt like to me too.
a "fluid fight" where the enemies patiently take turns dying rather than all attacking at once , so realistic 🤣
Don't worry. You'll see Eivor face entire armies attacking in unison once the Kingmaker Saga approaches. He was simply too quick for these Irishmen during this encounter. Thanks for watching! ;)
@@thenovicewhispers well maybe , + im playing this after completing all 4 endings in sekiro , so that could also be the reason for why I'm not really fazed.
@@themayomonster. I've heard Sekiro's combat is on another level. I'll be playing someday soon. But I plan to finish Valhalla first. I'm also playing on Aesir difficulty, but for some reason in Ireland not all the enemies scale above you like they do in Norway and England.

this game is so cringe like why the fuck are we mixing middle east and nordic mythology lmfao.
Scandinavian traders shared their wares and stories with merchants of the Abbasid Caliphate, naturally those stories blend across the ages and culminate in fictional works like these today. It's simply a modern fable that teaches a lesson by revisiting ancient characters from the epics of old.
it's fantastic how years pass and I still keep coming across details I missed from this game
lydia could get it icl
Dishonored (2012) is a masterpiece. Story, gameplay, unique art style, mechanics, physics, level designs, voice acting, sound design, music, replay value. The attention to details is impeccable. They don't make games like this anymore
I only dislike the non lethal lord regent ending, forced asf
@@eranodelpum9752 Surely you're not suggesting that it's unrealistic for the Lord Regent to make a recording of himself admitting to the crime, and to then store that recording in a safe (which is a location which any competent thief would naturally gravitate to)? ;o) Yes, it does feel very contrived. It would be much more realistic if, say, Corvo, were to surreptitiously turn on the broadcasting equipment, then sneakily trick the Lord Regent, who because he is alone with you, and is unaware that what he and Corvo says is being broadcast, believes that confessing to the crime to Corvo is OK because he thinks that only Corvo will hear. The 'good' ending for Lady Boyle is also very questionable, probably very creepy and wrong.
@@ConkerTS yeah honestly im literally on a ghost playthrough rn and it doesn't make sense to just have the lord regent just chilling while the broadcast plays. there's also usually a killswitch for citywide broadcasts. anyway its a small detail on the level of immersion of dishonored, which is generally incredible.
another similar game i really like is Vampyr. they could've done a lot better with it, but it matches very well.

Playing this game with analog sticks seems painful
It’s really not bad on controller. I think this game is probably better in mostly every way on MnK but controller is perfectly serviceable and def doesn’t feel like you’re battling the controls. The beginning of this clip does make it look like that though LOL
There's pros and cons to it. The aiming isn't so finnicky, but there's definitely moments where pressing in the left stick to sprint can prove a little awkward. Sometimes it leads to me ineffectually teabagging in front of guards rather than assassinating them.
@@emzetkin1100roll for intimidation
@@emzetkin1100it also feels like stealth is a little harder to pull off, because the stick isn’t as precise as it needs to be.
It depends on what you are used to. I've only ever played on controller since the good old days when I was a wee lad playing Xbox 360. I can't mouse and keyboard and let that muscle memory go out the window, it just doesn't feel right, no matter how objectively good MnK controls are.
