Bagpipes McCall of Glencoe 🏴

I am a Scottish Piper, with Scottish family heritage of whom I learned lived at Glencoe. I started the pipes after my father bought Scottish swords, targe, pistol and dirk to hang on a wood panelled wall and of course, the set would not be complete without the bagpipes. While touring Scotland with a caravan, he bought a set of RG Hardie pipes from Stobo's in the Royal mile. Later, we all went to the dunes nearby and he tried to strike them up. It sounded like three cats in a fight. It was impossible without tuition, so when we reached Inverness, we called at Inverness Castle where we heard there was a piper, but he was not there that day. Next stop, the local pipe band. I followed dad to join the band and the rest is history. I competed solo for many years winning the championship 🏆 I served 14 years as piper with Royal Engineer Regt. receiving tuition at Edinburgh Castle army school of piping where I perfected the art of piping.

Bagpipes McCall of Glencoe what is the tune you are playing at 4 minutes 30 seconds on your pipes ? I have the tune stuck in my head and can’t remember the name.
@@redburban1394 The tune is Atholl Highlanders. It's often played by army pipebands on the march.

I would like to have a collection of authentic period bagpipe music, the ones played in earlier times. Love the sound of bagpipes. This music is hard to come by in the USA.
