Meals look amazing! I love that the beef makes its own broth! Great video. Thanks! Val C
Wow! Lots going on. Brett has good reason to be tired! So glad your milk cow is ok. Looks like she and her calf are doing well. Lots of yummy milk! Enjoy. ❤️☹️Val C
Yeah! That was so neat to see and for your children to experience. Beautiful little bull calf. ❤️🙏🏻Val C
Great job Mom. I love that math program. So practical! Loved seeing how to make apple juice. Yum! Val C
GREAT JOB MOM!!!❣️ I enjoyed the info you shared and all the littles running around. And please don’t stress over the things you don’t make homemade, doing all that you do takes time and taking care of littles is just as important. Do what life lets you and enjoy every minute of it. You’re doing a great job.
Hi, I’m new to this. I don’t can or dehydrate, what about the goods expiring. Here in South Africa the date to be used on the bottom never seems to be longer than a year. Thank you in advance
Came from Zimmerman’s so interesting to see yours as well. Great reminder of the “other “ things. Subscribing
Loved meeting and hearing your children’s perspectives. Transitions are tough, praying it all works out for your lovely family. ❤️🙏🏻Val C
Barn removal went well! Gardens are always a challenge/learning curve and this weather is crazy! You will have a harvest in spite of it all. I can identify with the scheduling issues with working half days. I did that for some time and it was so difficult! I switched to two 7 hour and one 6 hour day. That was much more manageable. You do a great job juggling it all. Blessings! Val C
Je vous découvre grâce à la chaîne de la famille Zimmerman. Merci beaucoup pour cette visite.
Your animals are all well cared for and live a good life. Impressed how quickly you process them and they look amazing! Thank you for sharing. Val C
The simple things that make children happy ❤. Beautiful scenery. Beautiful singing! Val C
Glad your husband is safe! Garden looks great. Do you still have your horse? So sorry about your land😢. That is just criminal! ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻 Val C
Yes we do. Just a cow and horse until Aug... when we have a baby calf!
Yeah! ❤
Nice addition to your farm. She seems like a good cow. Love seeing Charlottes progress and enjoyed the camp nature walk. 😊 Your children have wonderful parents. Val C ❤️🙏🏻
So exciting!!!
Thank you.
Thank you for sharing!

Glad you are ok and so very sorry for your loss. I missed you but glad you had a break. You did sooo much!! Love hearing the peepers. Garden looks great. Hope potatoes make it. ❤️🙏🏻Val C
What size pan?
The Zimmermans sent me. Love your pantry!
Forgive me im fairly new to this kind of stuff. But how do you “cure” the potatoes?
Exciting news! So happy for you. Praying for you as you achieve your hopes and dreams. ❤️Val C
Thank you ❤
Hooray for the hoop house! 🥳🙌
Always fun to see what you are up to. Hoop house is awesome! Val C
Wow congratulations! Great job milking. Unreal those milk prices and your savings. Awesome! Val C
I find bread making very rewarding and what works for one person may not work for others so no way is right or wrong if the results are good ❤ I just take my sourdough start, named Dough (pronounced Duff) right straight out of the fridge, cold, unfed (usually a couple days), and 'proof it' in a cup warm water or milk 115'F, and a cup flour and ¼ sugar for about half hour to an hour until bubbly then add any other ingredients required for sandwich loaf...only timebi have problems is if I 'push' the rise time. Sometimes the full knead and sometimes the fold method, sometimes sandwich loaf and sometimes traditional artisan, sometimes pizza and sometimes buns...i do the same 'proof' method and seems to work fine for me....I'd like to know if anyone else out there does the same. PS I'm not a measurer, more of a 'that looks about right' kinda cook
Love these two recipes. I need to make them both. Brett is so talented! The living room looks wonderful. Val C
The living room looks fantastic I love the gray! I make onion soup mix as well but use herb ox no sodium beef bullion for chips or veggies dip or on a roast. The French bread is something I will try soon. Your children listen to you very well mama! Thank you!!!
Love the paint. Nice to have some alone time 🙂Val C
Wonderful tour! Such a lovely home, love your kitchen and sunroom especially, it has great potential. You’ve accomplished so much in one year. Kudos to you, Brett and your kids . They did a great job on chores and their rooms. Val C
Wow! I've learned so much already, thank you! I'm so excited for future videos!
I just want to understand, no judgement but why couldn’t you save the leg part? Just asking.. wow your husband makes it look so easy..
We could have... cold weather and frostbite was the main reason (aka, quicker).
Sweet family update! I am with you in loving the smell of potting soil; it's a glimmer of hope in the middle of winter!
YES!!
Did the potting soil smell good?😂😂
Not as good as the other stuff... but STILL GOOD!😂

What happens if it's a fire or water damage all that money is going to waste
I'm sorry you see it that way. There's a lot more than just food that would 'go to waste' in a fire. Pretty sure this will be the least of my worries. As for water, most of these things are in water proof containers (glass jars, buckets, even some of the original packaging). It is a risk I'm willing to take.
