Holden missed their opportunity when they released the first ZB commodore. Should have called this a Torana, and just left the Commodore name rest in peace with the last of the RWD’s. Might have sold a few more of what wasn’t a bad car, and kept the brand going a bit longer.

This is fantasy, but I’d say that comparing old specs to modern technology isn’t realistic now days. 4 cylinder turbos would out perform old grungy, lumpy v8s any day of the week now.

This is not even close to a Torana. A Torana was offered in 4 cylinder. 4 different size 6 cylinders and two size V8s It was available in two door hatch and 4 door versions making one of the most versatile cars ever made. The only thing Torana about this new one is the badge.... Isn't Holden gone anyways
