A testament to Japanese dominance in the 1980's car market. 1300cc 4 cilinder 12 valve OHC 2E engine mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission.

I looked at a red one in 1988 when I lived in Arizona that had been won by a golfer in a tournament. It was absolutely stunning, but insurance was going to be 3,000 a year in 1988 for me, so I couldn't afford to get it. :(

No puede ser año 1987 con motor 1.8 y con carburador. Ese modelo es 1984. El.modelo del 86 al 87 es motor 2.0 y con sistema de inyeccion.
Only the Si had 2.0 injection, the base Prelude was still 1.8 carbed until 1988 gen 3.

Thanks! There is nothing that sounds like a high revving V4. But if I may be cheeky, I do prefer the growl of a narrow angle V twin such as the CX 500 ;)

Thanks! Even though I've seen cleaner examples I prefer my dailys with a slight imperfections. That keeps me from getting anxious in the parking lot of the grocery store haha.
