Good unit but,,, speed limited in Aus to just under 10kph and given that I need to drive it on a rural highway, that's not really safe. It has the capacity to di 17kph like my older Afi Sportster so I'll be looking to fix that in my own self defence. Also there are a couple of problems. There is no battery capacity meter. So it's not really possible to tell when you need to recharge. I think you are supposed to balance thre odometer reading against voltmeter reading but that's not really much help. And the forward reverse switch is on the dah, not the handlebar which makes tight manoeuvring triky and awkward - as when boarding a train. Strange design decisions, probably made by someone who does not use one everyday like me. The high weight also reduces the range so it's more eye candy than functional The larger 100aH batteries are a must.

My 86 yr old father bought one because of the autofolding feature, he has another scooter and hadn't used the new scooter for a while, on trying it after being left a few months the battery has died and will not charge. It's now out of warrenty but we were lead to believe that the lithium battery would maintain its charge. The current price for a replacement battery is ...... £470 ........ Please be aware that leaving the battery in on charge or in my case leaving not on charge will cost you money. I would not recommend the product as I believe the scooter is not designed well for older people.

bought one of these online one year ago. The scooter was not in much use and my son left the battery plugged in for a very long period of time. My guess is that the scooter battery was damaged by that. Now the scooter wont open and I brought it in to be fixed at a wheelchair supply store, they could not get it opened. So I basically spent 2000.00 on something I used twice.
