GreatDayAK
Добавлен 25 янв 2024
It's a Great day in the AK! is an Alaska based RUclips channel, hosted by Alaskan Guide and award winning television, feature film and corporate producer Kel Thompson. After living in Alaska for a year and being encouraged by friends and family to start a RUclips channel showcasing the state, alas Kel has started on this new venture. Kel didn't know what to expect when first moving to Alaska, but was pleasantly surprised with the abundance of wildlife and outdoor activities and everchanging landscape and weather of Alaska. From wildlife, to aurora borealis, to camping to skiing, to kayaking and mountainbiking, from mountains to the ocean, with a history rich in lore, from Captain Cook and over 600 glaciers, the stories are around every corner.

Awesome! Looks so cold. ❤ from AZ
I know this video is months old, but Im commenting so you know for the future in case you find yourself in a situation like this again That is 100% a domestic, pet rabbit. Wild rabbits do not have those patterns or fur colours. That rabbit has been abandoned by its owner - they are statistically speaking the most neglected pet. If what you say is true, that you see several of these types of rabbits "in the wild", then that just means that there are plenty of shitty human beings in your area who have abandoned their animals. Additionally, rabbits reproduce easily and quickly and have large litters. THAT is why you see so many of them about. Brcause of awful people who dont care about the wellbeing of these beautiful, sensitive, social animals. Again, this is a DOMESTIC PET RABBIT. Next time, try to catch it, call a shelter, a humane society, anything. Just as any animal born and bred in captivity, they will not survive in the wild.
Def domestic
Great wild life
Not intrested in living there to cold no daylight enjoy I would visit
Alaska lake Alaska lake Alaska lake Tank Tank Thank Siberia Siberia Siberia Snow
That’s a pet those colors don’t exist in the wild, only brown and black exist in the wild
This seems to be the consensus, but also apparently people’s pets are loose in the wild and doing pretty well here :)
Those raider boats are really well made. Id like to see them create the new zealand / aussie style offshore style hull design & or maybe even a badass catamaran.
Sounds amazing!
When they have to use Obiden interest rates 😅😅😅 cant wait for that dingle & obama to end his 3rd term. Businesses can't wait as well.
I’m with ya
Similar in Maine
I bet! Hope to visit some day!
Dats a Hawg…..Road Hawg!😂😂😂
🤣 💯 🐖
Feral rabbits are all over Alaska. Lots of homesteaders raised meat rabbits and they’ve escaped or been released one way or another.
Ahhh thanks! Makes sense!!
That child is adorable if shes real
He's a boy, and he's real. But this isn't the original video.
Moose
If you're that stupid you need to be in a special home. 🙄
MOose
I think it's a dog it needs long legs to walk around in the snow in the winter 🤣🤣🤣
Its a Zebra 🦓
That kid has the most annoying voice

Moose 🫎
🐴 🤔
I’m told by my gym that there’s a family of these that live there (like literally right next to the gym about 20’ across the parking lot) and that they are indeed wild… so idk, I can’t find any pictures online that are an exact match (with the varying colors) but some are pretty close.
"Can I pet tht dog?"
😂😂😂😂

Reindeer?
I think 🤔
"Melting glaciers add to rising sea levels, which in turn increases coastal erosion and elevates storm surge as warming air and ocean temperatures create more frequent and intense coastal storms like hurricanes and typhoons."
It’s a domestic bunny
✅ seems to be the consensus, thanks!
Gym said it’s a wild one and there’s several like it that live in the area 🤷♂️
Rawhide 🤠
🐎
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i wat a pet bunny 😭😭
I think that’s a pet bunny that just escaped
Houdini 🤷♂️
Oh my gosh it's honey that's her name I lost her 2 years ago
:/
Wild animals don't have patterns like that. Please go pick it up if you can, it's someone's pet for sure and it's not going to be able to survive on its own :(
Oof I would but my car literally just went into the shop someone from the gym might have grabbed it
Gym said it’s a wild one and there’s several like it that live in the area 🤷♂️
Wild rabbit❌ Pet bunny❌ Big Chungus✅
💯 🐰
Domestic rabbit. It is an orange variety of a dutch rabbit. Very much so fomesticated and in the main US they are actually shown.
It looked like a rabbit I had as a kid… so that’s what I thought too
Im hungry for rabit stew thanks bro
Don’t stew on it! 🤣 🍜
it looks domestic. its got rounder features and that patterning cannot be great for camoflauge. id try locating and approaching it and see what happens?
Well, once I was told it was a wild one and this guy acted like he knew what he was saying, and I’ve only been here a year so I left it be sigh
@@greatdayak DARN i hope you at least find it again... poor thing
@@clemontirl im going to keep my eye out and I’ll ask at the gym if anyone picked it up
Gym said it’s a wild one and there’s several like it that live in the area 🤷♂️
@@greatdayak oh interesting! maybe its the result of domestic ones getting loose and breeding in the area...
Idc pet it please or I will bitch pet itttt!!!!!
Looks like a pet bunny escaped in my opinion, fast head twitches but little movement indicates that it is probably scared in a new environment but also could be hearing noises so may be a wild one. I say 60% chance to be pet 40% to be wild
Ahhh I like these odds!
Gym said it’s a wild one and there’s several like it that live in the area 🤷♂️
Wish you can keep em as pet or somethim
deff a English Lop
Not sure, but it had a British accent so it’s possible I guess
Sorry I don't know
That makes two of us! Thanks! 🙏
All of Canada disagrees.
Well, yeah… not different from Canada… valid point 😂
Monalisa girl 😂
They’ve been shrinking for the last 13,000 years, makes sense that the later part of the ice age would happen more rapidly; higher temperatures would have been around longer which would influence that outcome.
Possible
This effects my life how?
:) are you starting a new business?
Thinking about it :)
Nope I don’t want to get found in 2999 when it clasped.
Legit concern 🤣❄️
