Wow. Just wow. Great music beautifully played!
A VERY powerful quintet alongside Ms. Hyeyoon Park! They compliment each other musically! Very nice and very refreshing to hear this type of chamber music. 5:38 - such a deep and dark sound that my newly acquired violin creates... yet it's so hard to "capture it" on a mobile device unfortunately. Only in person can you truly appreciate it, and I'm so happy that I can hear such deep sounds from Ms. Park here :) A lovely violin to play Beethoven on!!! P.S. - what a great "treat" to have Mr. T. Ridout on viola in your "accompaniment"!!!

Makes you wonder, why did Ludwig van B. think he needed an entire orchestra for his violin concerto, given that it works every bit as well with just this skeleton ensemble. ;)
I really hope Carl Hinde will make one version with 1-2 wind instruments along with quintet.
