we used to have metal yoadalarms at primary, not sure if they where protect tho, in lockdown they replaced the inside metal with a red plastic part but kept the metal casing, on some they changed the whole sounder

That GENT logo lasted between 1983 and 1985.

Beamish Museum had some GENT Limited 1102 call points at the 1900's town. Games Galaxy of Consett had a CHLORIDE GENT 1102 call point and a CHLORIDE GENT bell.

It does prove that a GENT of LEICESTER 1102 circular call point can work with modern-day fire alarm panels.
