Bangalore international airport is with heavy air traffic, is this system suitable for such requirement.

Wow amazing. Some time ago I was very interested in the technology made by S4GA. Previously I was a graduate of Airport Electrical Engineering who of course studied the Airfield Lighting System. I calculated 48 G4 lamps. 44 of them are 1.2 watt warm white LED. 4 are 2 watt LED thresholds. 2 100 watt panels. 2 car batteries, acid diluted for deep cycle. 2 voltage regulators. 2 12 volt day/night switches. The novelty is the runway wires are so long that batteries in parallel at opposite ends of the runway will hardly harass each other. Cloudy spells can be cured with resistance to dim the lights. When the lights are at full brilliance, the 2 rows are plainly visible from the upper stratosphere. The most expensive purchase is the underground wires. Easy and simple.

Wouldnt the plane tires damage these lights when pilots run them over.

What's wrong with the PAPI lights? It should have been 2 white and 2 red...

Useful to see how well the lights perform from a pilot's visual perspective.
