What trash fish? Trout are quite the opposite
@@Nuxbaitfishing ... They can be nice to look at: pretty colors and all, but for the most part, they're worthless. The flesh is typically soggy, and theres not much of it, and way too many bones. I've marinated some larger trout, and smoked it; it turned out OK, I like it smoked. I've deep fried fillets, in corn meal; that was ok. But compared to other, truly game fish, trout is a trash fish...maybe I should say, stocked trout are trash fish.
@@hammerhed4140 I’ve had it multiple times and it is actually my favorite tasting freshwater fish to eat and and trout are not typically labeled as a trash fish

Salmon, Stripped bass, catfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, walleye...just about any other freshwater fish, tastes better than trout. True, it's not typically called a trash fish; that's only because most people follow trends. Have you ever seen trout offered at a restaurant? It's not often on the menu.
