Shopping for Eyeglasses at Some Stores (Parody)
Ever walked into an optical store, excited to get a new pair of glasses, only to be greeted by... silence? Or worse - the receptionist glued to their phone, ignoring your existence like you're a pair of last season’s frames? 😳
Well, we’ve all been there! In this hilarious parody, I play both the frustrated customer and the "too-busy-for-you" receptionist who just can’t put their phone down. Spoiler alert: things get real awkward.
At UseMyFrame.com, we believe every customer deserves attention, respect, and quality service - not a receptionist who’s more interested in their latest TikTok scroll. 😂

It's very useful to me
Really! Thank you sir🙂
And that's why optical companies are going broke.. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. That's so true. After 40 years in the business, I retired...
Seriously?! Perfect shirt for the "customer" to wear...lmao

It's so true 😆😆
Are all of the name brand photochromic lenses made of polycarbonate, or can you get name brand photochromic lenses made of Trivex?
Photochromics (non Transitions brand) and Transitions brand, all come in different materials; not just the polycarbonate. The specific color can vary by material.
Does this also adjust the axis then
Yes, the machine is able to capture the correct axis of the frame as well. So if you're used to tracing the demo lens and drawing a line to mark the 180 reference line, having the machine trace the actual frame itself, will usually provide more accurate data for the machine to use (axis of frame, curve, bevel width, etc.). We always prefer to trace the frame instead of the demo lenses and the results are better.
@@UseMyFrame amazing thank you. I got glasses the other day and they done it within an hour and I was thinking. How is this possible. They said they have a machine at the back
The "amber" looks way too brown. Is there any that looks more on the yellow side?
Hi, I have been an Optician since 1988 and have only ever used the Marco 101 and the B&L Vertometer and hands down the Marco with the prism compensater is the best. I’m teaching my 24 year old son and your video has been very helpful! Thank you!
@@adamhoward3627 That’s great to hear and thank you for sharing. There’s a few other videos in this series also that can help your son further his understanding.
Thanks for the video

Nice video
Sooo cool!!!! 🤓 Great video!!!!!!
Please make a comparison between Gen S and Xtractive
Great video thanks!
At the first state both lenses were 90% transparency. That's because the room lights were affecting the transparency? In other words, the transparency is slightly affected by the amount of brightness along with the amount of UV Rays?
Thanks, just hit a door with my head and my left glass popped out. (first day of my vacation) your great tutorial helped me fix it. you saved the day 😂
great guide but i think you may want to take a second look at your personal pair my guy. the c‘s on your temples have a 3 dimensional look to them when they should have a flat look. the temples have a recession in them where they connect. and they also never made blonde c-decors, guts should be black/dark grey depending on the horn unless you have brown buffs.
Essilor is quality machine! 👍
You referenced the girl with the big tits from Seinfeld that Jerry was trying to date haha
Your videos helped a lot in finding out what all this stuff is. Only found out today that I need glasses and am light sensitive, but now i at least know which lenses to get. Thanks a lot! Greetings from the Netherlands.
Awesome! Greetings from the USA! :)
Thanks man. But I wanted my lenses without coating. The coated lenses get scratched easily and don't last long. finally I received the lenses and they have a green hue. They won't last even a year. I am in a fix.
The video I was looking for. Thank you!
Where can one get one of those hooks to help inserting the lenses?
Good looking og
More like an unboxing video than a lens video !
Please do comparison, zeiss photofusion x hoya sensity x essilor transtition
SEINFELD!!!!
Seems kind fun to play with these slugs
This is the most helpful technical review so far. Thanks a lot for your effort! I would love to see the quantitive performance comparison for the Transition Xtractive NG as well. They should be lower from 6% when in darkest state right, because xtractive NG said to be the darkest on the market? Also, I am curious if the difference in coating between the xtractive NG lenses will affect the darkest state. Because i have Xtractive NG grey, one has a Sapphire and the other one is optifog. When in darkest state, the one with optifog coating is darker than the one with sapphire coating.
Sir could u make video how to grinding, edging for all type frames plz . Guide me how to fit lens my shop?
What type of machine is this?
Great video, thanks👍 what about xtractive, is it true that they're slower to turn clean? Like 2 minutes more?
Just got my first glasses..... Been holding off for years. my biggest regret is not getting transition lenses and just getting plain clear. Now either have to not wear my prescription glasses while driving or outside in sunny conditions or I have to spend around two $300 out-of-pocket to order another set of glasses.
F all dat. Where can I get the fakes ones for da low? 😂
thanks sir
The really good ones can only be distinguished by their price differences.
People selling fakes will love that thinking! lololol
What about night time usage for Polarized Lenses
Most technical papers will discourage the use of polarized lenses for night time driving; but I personally know of customers who prefer polarized lenses for night time driving to help reduce the glare, even with a lighter tinted polarized lens.
Hi! How does ZEISS photofusion X compare? Thanks
Much respect good video
This is so helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to create such a simple yet useful demonstration. Very much appreciated, Sir!
6:17 bro in a car got suddenly polarized •screeching wheels.wav•✨🚙
Great comparison thank you!
Thanks alot
Very Interesting video, sir. I just purchased new eyeglasses yesterday, and after discussing my options, I decided the XTRActive Polarized sounded the best. In your demo, it seems they aren't fully "clear" in the plastic tray even at the very beginning. I hope I'll be happy with my decision ... I guess I'll know in two weeks!
Yes, any Transitions in their XtrActive line, will have a slight tint indoors and are best for those who are very light sensitive for that reason.
This is the exact comparison I needed to see. Thank you for the demonstration!
