Love this course!

Very short and fun course. All three of the par 4 holes are sneaky tough. Otherwise, the rest of the par 3s are great practice for short game.

Agree on the 1st hole. Great track! Expect the worst and enjoy the weather on a good day. Played 36 holes 1 day, next day was rough. Fog, wind and mist. Finally got 18. Its the St.Andrews of the west. Fast greens, yet alot smaller. And the terrain is not flat. Probably wont get a flat lie, anywhere on the course. Besides the T boxes

at 0:58 your shot goes out of bounds, you then drop and give yourself only 1 penalty stroke. This is wrong, the rule is actually 2 penalty strokes (local rule e-5).

When i worked at USPS in Richmond and Oakland in the 80's we use to get off work at 3.30 and be at Franklin before 4 and tee it up, i had a front nine 33 once and went to get a hot dog and coke And Lost focus and went to the back nine and pushed one high up into the air and right into the pond, finished with a 44 back for a 77, been playing around the bay area for 38 years and only shot in the 70's 6 times, mentally tough game and hard like a rock to shoot in the 70's, that campsite crap will bring crime, break ins, and Drugs to the Hercules area guaranteed.
