Paul Gornall Wildlife Photography
Венгрия
Добавлен 2 июн 2023
I'm retired, living in Hungary with my wife Anna , Wildlife Photography is my passion, amongst other pursuits, completely relaxed and living my dream. I am fortunate to own a reasonable size woodland added onto our garden, excellent for wildlife. I'm not a chocolate box photographer, I enjoy seeing the birds in there natural habitat, I just try to get a clean background if possible, if the image is sharp I don't mind a little busy background.
It Doesn't Alaways go to Plan Thats Wildlife Photography

Thank you
Hi Paul excellent work , I´m curious about which stacking software besides Photoshop do you use? I assume Helicon Focus or Zerene Stacker...Keep on truckin´ ..Good luck from Colorado USA..😀
Thank you for your comments, I do use helicon, also I use DXO.
@@PaulGornallWildlifePhoto-kt6gg THNX for the reply. Where is your village in Hungary? 😁
Hi Paul very good setup . I am a Biologist and Macrophotographer as well...all the best from Colorado USA ..😃
Thanks for the walk, Nice images
Thank you for the comment.
Looks like you at some nice weather Paul for your walk you just never know what you may see loved the Roe Deer 🦌 images looking forward to seeing what you film next ❤ regards Dave
Thanks Dave, I must admit I was not expecting that with the deer, I shit myself for a second there lol.
We have had deer behind our house on the school playing field, but I haven’t seen them yet x
I need to get painting again, wish I could, paint as good as your fab still lives, hope you are both keeping well Janet x
You can do it!
Well done, beautiful Janet and Ian x
Amazing footage , great quality 👍👍
thank you
king sparrowhswk
Sparrowhawk is the best hunter I have ever owned
SORRY but NOT ENJOYABLE TO WATCH n HEAR YOU DRINK n SLURP
Good luck on your macro journey. You have some really nice images already!
thank you so much, it is a challenge at 2:1 magnification as focus peaking doesn't work to well, much better at 1:1, but 1:1 isn't close enough lol
Raise your iso a bit, I'm usually at 1/32 often at 1/64 but never at 1/8, try using iso 320 ish and you will see a massive improvement 👍
thank you for the advice much appreciated. I have been messing around with higher iso, found I can reduce the flash power, therefore giving me faster re charge time at high speed. it just takes trial and error, keeping in mind noise levels, so I don't have to use De noise all the time. I have realised I can't use 100 iso all the time lol.
A very interesting video on your new setup Paul looking forward to seeing what you do next Brilliant images Paul well done I can see why you wanted to create your new setup ❤ regards Dave
Thanks Dave
That was good. It's like the film The fantastic voyage.
haha, can't say I seen it.
Nothing left in my garden due to the activities of sparrowhawks, they have killed or frightened all the bids off.
Oh dear, unfortunately that's nature, especially when we try to help birds by putting feed out for them, it does attract predators as its easy pickings . there maybe a cat roaming around too.
Bet you haven't seen a bull fince😊
no not yet, but winter is coming and I could be lucky
Great images Paul and a very interesting video explaining macro well done ❤ regards Dave
Thank you Dave, just ordered a proper macro set up today so will have to wait a couple of weeks or so for delivery , don't get stuff delivered here quickly unfortunately.
Great video and a good verity of birds where abouts are you i live in Merseyside and Greenfinches and chaffinches use to be very common but sadly don't see them very much thease days ive never seen a Goldcrest
Thank you for your comments, I moved to Hungary 4 years ago this September, it is great to see so many different species and to photograph them as well.
Great tips for macro photography, thanks for the video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Look good to me Good Luck x
Thank you
How about ditching the bloody music and let us hear the birds. Bloody hell! I hate all that music. Just nature sounds. 😤
Thank you for the comment, sometimes the footage is in slow-motion , therefore no sound, but also my woodland has a main road at one end so getting nature sounds without road noise is challenging. but I get your point.
😊 thank you
You’re welcome 😊
Look good to me. It’s warming up a bit, it maybe the start of our Summer, have a great one x
