If you go on a satellite map you can see just how backwards Africa is. There is literally nothing in the countryside, no roads, no systematised agriculture, no infrastructure, nothing. The only places that look somewhat "ordered" and "planned" are the city cores built by Europeans more than 100 years ago. It's truly astonishing. Congo Kinshasa has not one single bridge. Not even Kinshasa and Brazaville, two capital cities are connected with bridges.

Look at Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago in the states for examples of the same.

This just goes to show, that Asia has a very different history with colonialism to Africa. The colonizers (NATO), never left here. Africans don't have a single thing to learn from the Chinese as the Chinese now are starting to colonize and steal from Africa. Do we live in the same world ? Has anyone heard about the Congo and its natural ressources ? Nobody would be able to comment under this video without the forced work of Congolese children. Has anyone heard about the genocide brought by King Leopold ? You take a man, kill his parents, put his children to work and steal his money and then you wonder why he drinks ? Humble yourself. Be human. It's not only that. Africans are as traditional and conservative as it gets. They reject modernity and there's nothing wrong to it. Their traditions go far back a lot more than those of Europe and North America because of that rejection. It's their way of doing things. It keeps the old ways alive. Nobody respects them. I find it rich to colonize someone, slaughter them, wreck their culture, their identity, their history, their way of life and look them down for not learning from all that violence.

china benefited from the soviet union spare of influence , they got their first nuke thanks to the soviets, made advancements in their country thanks to the soviets and also made advancements in the free market thanks to US being afraid of china falling deeper into the hands of the soviets, so i guess thanks to the soviets again. There is more economic incentives to have an unstable africa, than a super power nation or developed nation helping out an african nation, its way more easier & cheaper for them to undermine things. Taiwan, japan, hong kong, s.korea all got propped up because western superpowers were afraid of china & russia dominance in that region. just look what happened to Zimbabwe when it stopped being Rhodesia. There is honestly no geopolitical incentive to help an african nation out rn, its why i was partially interested to see how russia being invested in the AES would play out, would western nation invest into ecowas nations? but it seems like russia influence is a nothing burger especially with them attempting to balance out the war in ukraine
