I just opened my test results from my ER visit yesterday, when I arrived complaining of SOB, neck and head pain and chronic Lyme. I told them upfront I suspected CHF caused by endocarditis or cardiomyopathy.They sent me home after 2 hours, a chest x-ray, ekg, CBC, urine culture, and cardiac enzyme testing. Mind you the EKG was performed immediately upon arrival. Guess what information they got from that! Positive for LVH. Shocking! What did they find in the urine culture you ask? Streptococcus bovis. What is that often linked to? Endocarditis. Not to mention my blood cells are the wrong size, shape, and color. But according to the same hospital system that killed my husband 5 years ago, I'm doing great. I should go home, make no lifestyle changes, take no antibiotics, and what, wait for sudden cardiac death? I guess so. If anyone knows how I can stop being gaslit, and actually receive some sort of treatment, the information would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you.
