3$ per bowl is insane cap. Avocados alone are 2 bucks each here. The minced beef will be another 2.
The cost is calculated for the total recipe cost which makes 4 serves and then divided to get a cost per serve. So correct an avocado costs $2 but that cost is across 4 bowls (1/4 avo per serve) so only 50c is included in the per serve price.
@@eightforestlanefam youre literally using half an avocado in the video. Even the cheapest avocados, that's 1 buck already. Minced meat isnt cheap either. It makes no sense to break down costs per meal when you have to upfront buy all the ingredients anyway. Why do wannabe youtube chefs never understand that? The bowl is still above 3 bucks so stop yapping.

Yes they are the most expensive ingredient in this recipe but they are a great pantry staple that you can buy in bulk to make more affordable. All other ingredients in this recipe help keep the total cost low.
