Pantheon Paris walk including a look at the tombs of the most famous philosophers who ever lived Voltaire and Rousseau. Louis Xvi once when looking at a picture of these two men turned to his son and remarked that they are the two men who destroyed France. Certainly they had a huge impact on the thinking and principles which helped start the French Revolution.
Tour of Paris Catacombs

Macarb walk through the underground caverns used as catacombs housing the remains of six million parisians. The most poinyennt section for me is the remains removed from the graveyard of Maderlaine these being the victims of the guillotine during the French Revolution. Maybe even Marie Antoinette & Louis Xvi. I personally don't believe the story that Marie Antoinette's headless body was identif...

Sometimes at Versailles you feel swept away with the crowds it's important that you step back and try to look closely at the interesting paintings and objects, I'm lucky to say I have visited Versailles many times. From experience I'd say visit once with your camera take as many pictures as you'd ever want, next visit with no camera and simply soak up the history take your time and switch of fr...
Tennis court oath

This is the royal tennis courts situated just outside the Versailles estate in which the third estate representing the people decided to break from the estates general and form it's own constitution. Effectively this was the place in which the French Revolution started. A very poinyennt place as it marks the end of the ancient regime and the starting place of the new modern world.

This may sound crazy but I once had a dream about 3 years ago...and in it was that small courtyard. It was night time and torches were lighted below. I've been to France but never to Paris or the palace of Versailles. When I visited France it was to the south of France....Nice, was the place I was staying. Ive always been a francophile and loved reading about Marie Antoinette and the palace of Versailles, but I never read about the smaller courtyards in the palace. In my dream I knew at once that I was at Versailles. When I first seen this video I about spit out my Dr pepper.

Ce sont des visites guidées privées. Il faut les réserver auprès du château. Je ne sais pas si elles sont accessibles online ou s'il faut les demander lorsque l'on est dans le château. It is a private guided tour. You can ask the château when you buy your tickets (I don't know if it is available online, or if you have to ask when you are in the château).

well if you want to be dizzy and watch/see blurry images.. you’ve come to the right place! I left at 1:35 people that video should learn the art of WHY the ones who know what they are doing, MOVE SLOWLY, if you’re not it is a waste of your time and those that were going to watch.

Sinful decadence. While people were starving, missing basic necessities, these people were living in gilded excess. It’s true horror thinking of all the tyranny that have walked those creaky floors and occupied those rooms.

that circular window above was added to the room when its function changed from Louis XIV's bedroom to a waiting audience chamber for his new bedroom erected beyond. It was to let in more light for the amount of courtiers that would squish in. Originally, that room was the king's bedroom and is central to the entire original hunting chateau.
