sir price?
Yes we have 2 left
Do you have any left?
Need to have Josh wolf design for sell as well. I love wolf's.
Thank you!!
The focus quality on the camera was very poor and could be improved for the next time as I eagerly wanted to see what the retreat was all about. Thank you for sharing.
I completely understand your point. We do service these as well as all other brands. If this is machine is not for you we certainly would love to try and find one that works for you. I must say though I love the technology in this machine and it really makes all facets (sewing, quilting, embroidery) much easier but it takes some technology to do it. As for the price well you get what you pay for. It does everything so in a sense it should cost more. I realize it certainly is not for everyone but it really is awesome.
I saw the intro to this sewing machine. There are some good points and not so great. The price is over the top. People just don't have 23,000 dollars now days. Yes, it is better than most, but there are some not so great areas. For example having to change over to the Regulator and back again. I don't like that, but I did like the new way to make buttons. This machine is just too complicated for older grandma who have a hard time with technology. I saw during the zoom video how all the grandmas there were really upset. We just want a simple machine. No I won't pay 23,000 for a machine that will break down and I can't even figure out how to fix it. I bought a Baby Lock for 14,000 dollars when it came out and it beeps constantly on me after sewing 10 min or less and the guy can't fix it when I take it in. I bought a Pfaff for 4000 dollars and it also makes a noise the guy still has fixed it. I have taken this machines over and over and they give me the blah, blah, blah. So No way:(((( So you out there wanting a good machine don't buy one you can't fix:(((
It's a great machine for fast or heavy straight stitch work. Reality is it's exactly the Janome HD9 that's been around for quite a while, but with a "Bernette" style paint job. I think it looks a bit smarter than the Janome version if that's important. Bernina had a gap in their machine range that this Bernette fills. Janome makes most of the other Bernette machines for Bernina, and that is no bad thing. They are a high quality manufacturer (excluding the cheap low end junk that most manufactuerers make just to be in that part of the market). Their upper end machines have engineering quality on a par with Bernina as does this one. (I've serviced both brands so know what't inside). As a plus this Bernette version includes the extension table that you don't get included with the Janome version, and there are also some very minor differences between the accessories you get with this and the Janome but nothing much significant.. The only sensible purchasing decision between this and the Janome HD9 is a combination of price/deal/package/dealer relationship really. A huge plus is that as this uses an industrial hook and high shank foot fixing, there are all those specialised industrial feet on the market that will fit that you can get at very low prices ;o)
How did that work with the longarm? Does the hoop move?
After dreadful service from Bernina in later years, thanks at first to NO training due to a bankrupted dealer where I bought A Bernina E machine in early 2000s incl FULL digitizing software total $7200 and later with other machines ending with my mum’s literal boat anchor the Bernina 880 -that NEVER, ever worked properly either, it’s hard to remain a fan & not share our experience. I still use our METAL, 1960s Bernina 730 -it’s the BEST SEWING MACHINE EVER IMHO however, I would NEVER buy the first version of ANY computerized machine ever again. We did it 3x & were let down 3x plus switching from a Bernina serger to a Babylock. The full version Bernina V8 software I bought to learn digitizing was nearly impossible to get training on due to NO trainers, even online. In two cities we lived each time I was told I knew more than they did (which wasn’t much). I used AutoCAD in my career but I still needed software support. I eventually discovered the software was made by Wilcom. THEY VERY GENEROUSLY helped me with my issues & told me about a compatible alternative they were just releasing (sorry Bernina but I had NO DEALER TO advise me). I eventually began using HATCH & never looked back. It’s the best digitizing softwear on the market, IMHO, I’ve ever used & I tried several. EASY to learn and now lots of functions are simply automated. If you want to learn how to digitize the full HATCH version does it ALL and exports easily to files that stitch out perfectly on Bernina. JOHN DEER is the most FANTASTIC EMBROIDERY RESOURCE to buy it from for their courses, techniques & designs including moral support. LOL THEY ARE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MODEL, EVERYONE SHOULD IMPLEMENT, IMHO. Bernina customer service changed dramatically over our time since Mum started in the the 60s. My late hubby often said they’re NOT at all like car manufacturers/dealers in similar product/price points- up at the high end in their category. They didn’t treat their dealers well either IMHO as several shared this with us, lamenting their own frustrations after they’d had years of great relationships with Bernina HO. Our local one, we’d been with since the 70s stopped maintaining Bernina b/c they weren’t supported either though I hear there is a very good, new one, now. While I LOVE my metal BERNINA 730 for reliable, basic sewing and is still working great, I love embroidery but we gave up on Bernina embroidery/bells & whistles & bought 2 used late model Melco Big Red AMAYA 16 needle machines for 12k as they’re GREAT WORKHORSES but my late husband ran them while I only digitized SO with him gone, I need to downsize and the B990 brought me here. If the Bernina customer service has turned itself around since the 90s - 2016, I might further explore the B990 as that large hoop & tablet look great for pillow cases & totes BUT I discovered, it’s THE AFTER SALES SERVICE that was the MOST IMPORTANT for me with financial transactions of this size & technical equipment. Sorry Bernina, Mum (she’s 91) & I tried MANY times to get our computerized machines updates & working but losing our much loved local dealer, learning they too were frustrated with HO, that was kind of the end, for us. We were LOYAL BERNINA CUSTOMERS spending over 20k until the let downs were just too costly & frustrating. I have the 880 for sale the 2 older Big Red MELCO AMAYA EMBROIDERY MACHINES with all the hoops imaginable etc with supplies/designs etc suitable for a home biz. Im OPEN to offers. Message me here if anyone is interested. Loved BERNINA since my mum taught me to sew 50 yrs ago but BERNINA didn’t seem to love us. Convince me they’ve changed and I’ll gladly delete this post and reconsider the beautiful B990 but Version 2.0.
The window behind was blinding. It blocked out most of your face and made it hard to watch. It is all about the lighting. In your next video, please put a dark shade over that window so we can see your face.
Wow, I clicked on this video to see a demonstration on how to do a collage quilt. I watched the whole thing I saw no demonstration at all. All I saw was some dude self advertising for a whole 30 minutes. What a waste of my time.
can't hear
Could not hear Barbara but Josh’s constant interruptions came though very loud! I had hoped to learn a step-by-step process for collage Quilting, but this video was confusing and frustrating. I understand the need to up sales for the store, but I feel that needs to be handled toward the the end of the video. Just saying, I got bored with trying to pick out relevant information about the collage Quilting and finally went back to surfing RUclips for a better tutorial.
I really didn’t learn anything, it was all about you promoting your stores
Kathy is the best.
No I we unfortunately can not
Hi, Can you deliver the brother luminaire 3 to India?
👉 'promosm'
😊
Hi How are you
Are they still on sale
We have 2 left, please give us a call!!
Price pls?
Sorry couldn't hear and presentation of quilts was poor.
I am Kirby Starship Care System cleaner machine fanatic that I am. that's what happens when people have outdated cleaner machines they will get extreme major issues here. the parts of outdated cleaner machines are very difficult to find. I will not use outdated cleaner machines. I use the Kirby cleaner machines.
I am Kirby Starship Care System cleaner machine fanatic that I am.
yes like a Kirby Starship Care System cleaner machine.
Barely hear you.
The critical problem with this video is that it’s so biased that he doesn’t tell you how Bagged and Bagless have their advantages and disadvantages, he just states that bagless is disgusting and bagged is not. So what, I did things like handling 4 tons of gross garbage and that’s much more of a yucky job than maintaining a bagless vacuum will ever be!
Dress is cute
We need a nice big fabric, sewing machine, long arm and classroom shop here in (Long Island) Suffolk County, New York. We have one or two small shops. A large shop is greatly needed here. We have a shortage of Brother repair people here also. I know of one repair man only here.
Your shower curtain idea is wonderful
Yes, Dysons are not the greatest vacuums out there, but that’s not what bothers me! What bothers me is how they put up biased information like this online, and most people are not aware of that! Hundreds if not thousands of people are easily taken in by biased nonsense like this, but not me! I know my vacuums, so there is no way you can fool me!
Price???
Great video!
Thanks Kathy!!
Don’t walk in front of camera
What isyour address please
This is very biased! Learn how Bagged and Bagless both have their advantages and disadvantages. m.ruclips.net/video/SHABDApHIwg/видео.html m.ruclips.net/video/8ZdsFC4uUE4/видео.html
I would love to see more videos without Josh. Why can we hear him and not Barbara. He needs to stop interrupting. Can't follow what she's trying to do.
Can’t hear Barb.
Love all of your collage quilts. I’m currently working on the spool of Flowers one. So inspirational.
Hard to hear her! He needs to stay out of it and stop moving camera and interrupting ,
What is his problem…leave the camera alone.
“Bagless loses suction after the first six months.” FACT CHECK: Partly False. That only happens when you neglect to maintain the machine! If you take proper care of a bagless vacuum like wash the filters with soap and warm water and air compressor the bin and cyclone assembly believe me, not only will the machine remain with good optimal performance, but it will ensure that it lasts a long time! How a vacuum lasts depends on how you take care of it, not because of manufacturing issues or how it’s built! “It’s plastic so air can escape.” FACT CHECK: False. Dyson vacuums have a complete sealed system and a HEPA filter. So air cannot escape like you say so! That only happens when the machine is poorly sealed! I know a lot of you Vac & Sew folks oppose of bagless machines, But stop spouting nonsense about them! It’s disingenuous and it’s irritating!
Look I like the Riccar, I think it is an amazing machine for allergy sufferers, but biased comparisons like this really get my goat! Does it ever cross your mind that there’s people like me who don’t want to deal with replacing bags every time they get used and would personally prefer to empty and reuse a canister?!
“Simple, bagged is better than bagless.” It depends on what your needs are and what your personal preference is! If you have severe allergy symptoms and are dust intolerant, bagged is an absolute must! If you have a good healthy strong immune system like me, and you would prefer not to deal with the rigmarole of replacing bags, bagless is an absolute must! For my personal preference, NO BAGS!
“It’s plastic so air can escape.” Nonsense! Dyson vacuums have a completely sealed system, so impurities cannot escape! You’re just so disingenuous!
I say bagless is better for my personal preference and needs! I would much rather empty a canister and wash the filters as oppose to replacing bags every time the get used! If you just place the dust bin at the bottom of the waste can and slowly empty the contents, won’t get such a dramatic dust cloud! Bagged or Bagless is my decision, not yours! “These are disgusting, these are not.” So what?! Dealing with a bagless machine is nothing compared to handling 4 tons of gross garbage!!
Hello how long is warranty on sewing machine
