Horseshit. Tennis' popularity for example grew tremendously because of Roger Federer. And he's known to be the most graceful player on and off the pitch. Rarely had an outburts, rarely bad mouthed his opponents or the umpires / refs. Never had any controversy following him. And yet he elevated the sport. We don't need a Conor Mcgregor type in AW. It's completely unnecessary. Levan is elevating this sport as we speak. He's closely behind Devon in terms of fame and he's known to be a gentle giant. Denis has a wide following and always had, because of his abilities on the table and he never bad mouthed anyone. John is obviously widely known, didn't lash out to anyone. @kebub1 I never brought politics up I ain't even talking about the election of the USA or anywhere else. When looking at boxing who made it boom? Muhammad Ali who trash talked. Ufc who made it boom? I know that the UFC weigh-ins are the day before. There are many other sports that have the day before weigh-ins. It's a good thing and a bad thing. If they're going to implement the same day weigh-ins, the fighters need to know way in advance. It's too late now, 2 weeks before the fights to have Devon weigh in the same day.
