I feel like people do not respect case workers at all and are not paid good. Are you paid salary? I am still debating on going for my masters degree because it could take away more time away from my kids. How many days do you work as a medical social worker? What is your pay? 29$ an hour here for a case worker with a Ba.

I’m a junior in high school and I’m interested in social work(still not sure thought) but I’ve always wanted to help people in poverty or in poor counties (since my family is from said countries) so idk if that would fall under social work and if so what specifically

Hey Anna! I just wanted to say it's okay to recognize that what's most important to you is having loved ones around for your wedding. It's also okay to feel sad or disappointed at the prospect that your wedding won't have a videographer, especially due to a reason that seemed so small and manageable. I saw that you said it would be okay and it was figured out in the video, but I still want to give support and say to allow yourself the space to feel disappointed. You aren't a bridezilla for having feelings and you are leading with compassion and understanding first, and that's amazing, just be sure to give compassion and understanding toward yourself too. I really enjoyed this video, so thank you for talking a little about this. I am currently working on my bachelor's in social work and I am so tired and exhausted that I am actually considering dropping out. In some ways I like the profession and in other ways I am so unmotivated to continue on this path. I don't know if it's completely my way anyway and I've felt that way for a long time. right now I'm trying to think about what I would like to do with the profession, to help other people who are in a difficult situation. I've probably just found out that the way I thought you could help is probably not a completely realistic picture of the profession, unfortunately, and that makes me perhaps consider whether it's the right thing for me. But whatever whether it's the right thing for me or whether I have to go another way, I think it's great for those who take this education because it’s a really important profession.
