Wish i was born in a world without javascript
JS, Go, C
Good combo.
This one I prefer more!
The three languages you need to know as an engineer: - English - Mathermatics - C (and/or C++) Anything else is a distraction.
There is no escape from JS.
Out of curiosity I clicked this video. As a developer it's obvious whatever kind of actual engineer you are you're not a developer. You're rambling about generalities you don't actually have experience with in the real world.
Can you be more specific? _You_ sound like the inexperienced one
So, just learn asm_x86 , got it : )
What tablet is that? I’ve been looking into buying one. Edit: I see in the comment section it says there are 2 comments but it seems the other comment isn't showing (it could be a link was provided but it was blocked by yt)

Resume?
Really great. Thanks, Brian. I’m moving from Science to software engineering so this was really helpful. Had heard of Sal but we only ever used Matlab and Python.
thanks for the video
A small bit of feedback. Some of us have bad eyesight or watching on phones. I think you could go a long way if you had a graphic table and drew on the screen like Khan Academy rather than the white board. Just an idea!
Great watch and explanation Brian! Sub'd to the channel
14:51 yep. if only we look more into the other parts of the system
Holy shit, Thanks for making these videos. These are unique to the market and not much information exists upfront.
Thanks so much! That means a lot.
Just stumbled on the material, watching it because it is related to my study for system design and ontology with comunication materials that I am looking through! Thank you for the reiterating! So we have "The plant" - for working with anything that we are attempting to control "The optimal control model" - to handle cost to arrive from A to B "Standart streams" - to handle/process data input from stdin and report with stdout/stderror "C Model" - often reaccures when working with any deliverables where recieving requirements and producing output takes place I would also add an understanding for System Design when it comes to working complex systems, like producs and stuff. The main points is to understand system and subsystem, roles, positions, responsibilities, intent when it comes about people. And the part which relates to Lifecycle.
on.a side note, such videos can gain more outreach, if there would be more examples of explanation of these things.... people are visual
Just started watching this series. Love the format. Subbed.
You look almost like the Jack Barker in the Silicon Valley show
The Conjoined Triangles of Success! *gets hostaged.
Lolol both yall 💀💀
btw silicon valley was built by russian architectures btw
The conjoined triangles of success
now i cant unsee it
so java, is in itw own place
I started a general IT job about a year and a half ago and have been interested in learning development. I started learning web development with The Odin Project and have been enjoying it, but this puts other languages on my radar. I appreciate the helpful video!
I was expecting to get mad after looking at the title, but the list is actually pretty good. If you had to pick 3, these are the best.
I do like zig, but the breakings between each releases is a pain, l know this is for the future good though.
Do you think zig has potential to get more wide adoption if it reaches 1.0 or will it be a niche hobby language.
"official" 1.0 won't matter, the real "full release" will be when the tooling stabilizes--and we're much closer than most realize. And yes, I think it has real potential to be a GP language, beyond just systems and certainly beyond hobby.
BTW, this is the solo most relevant video for Kubernetes and terraform on digitalocean for any student and devop. i think you should be rewarded. :) KUDOS from India.
Hey Brian is it possible for you to publish this on public repo as i was doing a practical on a DO container registry and wish to keep up the pace. May be a diff could identify on what is wrong in my code. {link found in reply}

I do need to get better at including these "upstream" links in the descriptions... still ironing out a production workflow!
