I don't know what impresses me more... The fact the drummer can still play like that (I was certain back in the day his drumming career would be short playing like that) OR, The fact his time DOESN'T suffer like it did in the early days. Mind you, I loved his erratic playing, too. This song was begging for it.

One thing I just noticed... Ray's cymbals hardly ever cut through the mix live. Even when I saw them in person.. maybe David just played harder but it's definitely a noticable difference

@@josephmiller1941 the drums just sit way too far back in the mix nowadays. And sound compressed as hell. I miss the quiet/loud dynamic. Especially in say, FTL or Issues
