@@AllPistonsGarage Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to check that out. I also ordered a new ignition switch, it had no key so even if that's not the problem at least it'll have a key lol.

It’s possible I definitely had a high rpm at low speed like in first gear and then sometimes it would tend to try and stall at idle this is what lead me to do this smoke tester. Thanks for watching

Yes the peppermint oil will agitate them but it seems they return eventually so I now use a recipe that is working great with peppermint oil it’s called Viper and I get it from amazon just a couple drops of peppermint oil in a pump up sprayer a couple drops of dish washing liquid to make it stick to the surface you’re spraying this has been a game changer for me I will leave link to the Viper insect spray I use and it leaves a very pleasant smell to a.co/d/amOhL79

Mine is a 20 gallon and I can sand for a good bit especially turning the built in regulator down a bit if it starts struggling I just let it catch up if I used it a lot I would obviously buy a bigger compressor hope this helps

I would think so I would use caution as your dealing with fumes you may want to use a vape pen instead of a cigar with a ignition source and definitely start in the engine compartment

I’m not familiar with the Escalade so my information may be limited but I would think as the smoke traveled to the tank it would still escape through any kind of opening I would start at the engine compartment connect and start pumping you may want to use Vape pen for something dealing with fumes but I would think you get enough smoke in that system it will escape any openings use caution as always

Not dumb but yes engine needs to be off or it will take your smoke and put it out the exhaust pipe

Well the problem is the stud is spot welded to a bracket inside the hood it looks like a wheel stud if you have ever seen one out of the axle of a car it has a shoulder and that shoulder is what you are drilling and tapping

Not sure if you can get enough pressure filling the void of the tank to get enough pressure in the lines going to the rest of the plumbing of the system and I would extreme caution doing any with a fuel tank that used any method of ember south as a cigar vape pen maybe

On the corners of the heads there is some threaded holes in corners I believe it took a 10 mm head not sure what thread size that would be but as you see it held motor and transmission

Sorry it took so long to respond I’m just getting back in my shop the strap connects to the side of the engine block

@@AllPistonsGarage after the GEM module timed out, was your PCM maxi fuse drawing any amperage or did you find NO draw? Mine is drawing 0.13 and I hear the CCRM kick in when I connect the battery. Not sure if that is expected. Something is draining and I will be checking this next

@@JosephPetersonCode I found no draw after GEM module timed out but I also do not have the Mach system which from what I understand the amps will go bad and start a draw on the battery I pulled the fuse on my radio which is aftermarket this had no affect either
