I am noticing that there is no representation in this meeting from Saratoga Springs City. Is there normally representation from Saratoga? If not is there a way to get involved? I am a 22 year resident of Saratoga Springs and have a home on the lake front. We love Utah Lake and are interested in the preservation and future projects on the lake. Interested in access points, 5-10 year plan, and involvement in the swamp mitigation corridor in my neighborhood.

Are community members eligible to be members of committees and workgroups? I'd love to get involved.

Give them to zoos for bears and such or sea world or wild bears then they may stay out of your trash cans. Win win situation.

Carp , in this country with no natural predators, makes good fish food, fertilizer nd, though it is not a cultural favorite, a nice dish. If we can pay for Tilapia or Swai we can eat Carp. Tilapia, 10 years ago, was a junk by catch. Swai is a very ugly little bottom feeding catfish. The ideal way to pond farm fish is get Tilapia, a top to middle feeder in the same pond as swai, a bottom feeder which will essentially recycle the Tilapia's wast

I lived near Utah lake as a kid in the 80’s. It was blue, clear and you could catch trout pretty easily. I went back in 1998 and it was green, the water actually felt slimey and it was filled with carp.

I make kippers , smoked salted fish, with carp. Canned afterwards, they are very good.

Maybe treat it like the bottom fish they turn into surimi.

At least these don't jump out and knock you out of the boat. They should harvest them and make cat food out of them.
