How are your mirrors so loose ? I don't think a sledgehammer would help make mine turn like that.

For some reason I can’t shift those clips behind the mirror on mine☹️..but I’ll give it another crack with a smaller screw driver and see if I get any joy

Used mirror cover
Thank you for posting this. Had my wing mirror cover clipped off this morning - luckily I managed to get the main piece back before it was run over😬. Wasn’t sure if there were any more pieces to look for so your images of the internals were super helpful.
The same thing happened to mine. Cover clipped off. I didn’t realise until 5 mins later. Came back to the scene and it was on the road in one piece after someone saw it being kicked to the curb but found indicator lens had been crushed on the ground. Just got the lens today so will be fitting it this evening 🙏🏽

Just ordered new Indicators for my fiesta and this helped a lot. I hadn’t seen anyone put a new one in on other videos. I’ve tried to take the mirror cover off did you find the clips were quite tight to push up?
They weren't too hard to unclip it was mainly just finding them since it's hard to see
Cheers Richard, someone knocked my wing off, had to replace glass also. Unfortunately, I think the clips are damaged, might be a superglue job.
My clips were bollocked, so I bought a cover, sprayed in the adequate colour for £23 new, off net.
