electrofunk 65 striking hammer
Description and demonstration of an air operated 65 pound blacksmith's striking hammer. The machine delivers single blows on command from a foot treadle with precision and power. Stroke and power are easily adjusted, and the hammer can perform both heavy forging and delicate veining with ease.

Pedal powered threshing machine
Просмотров 90 тыс.11 лет назад
Documents the construction and use of an experimental threshing and winnowing machine to process small grains.
Is it possible to feed straw and all through your thresher (like with a normal combine)? Or does it only work for threshing heads from the straw and then pulling the straw back out?
Pedal power is fantastic. You can do a LOT including wash clothing, turn a conveyor belt, operate all kinds of machines.....it's fantastic
Beautiful 🥰
That was genius. Well done, sir!
If you sit more upright like on a Bicycle, then you could probably pedal a lot easier, almost laying down like that, makes it harder to pedal.
Excellent!
Still waiting for the video on that sweet gas forge you brought to Iron to Art in Johnstown. ;)
Very good, build design, SIR !. Do you have ' plans ' for this item ? thanks. 🧲
👍
Heck, i'da worn long welders' gloves.....you only will get ONE chance, for a permanent injury......
This is absolutely amazing! Brilliant idea, man!❤❤❤✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼✌🏽!
That is very nice
That’s genius man. Good stuff.
Fantastic man. Beauty!
WOW" this man is a genius " now that you have the prototype " when will you start production? & may I be one of your 1st customers? We really need one for our homestead farm""
Jeffrey ! i fell off the planet! Great to hear your voice and see you in this video. I'm still at it , back in NC for the last 20 years. Live long and prosper Jeffrey! James Quinn
Are these available to buy? If so how much and where?
Wow!
Very impressive!
Does this use solid-state relays or a PLC? I think a PLC for such an application is overkill.
This is an incredible design. Will love to get my hands on the plan. Over here in the forest areas of Ghana, rice fields are too remote and small to get combines for harvest hence such a machine will help a lot.
This is awesome
Nice work
Best possible use for a recumbent exercise bike (spits). Build quality and concept seem sound, nice to see.
Are the hammer for sale. And where are you located
Wow, really impressive build. I like the ram, the anvil. The hole in the anvil. The long guides. Good job. One thing though. I really don't like how you put your hands under the ram. At least on video you shouldn't do such things. Just look at what happened with John Switzer's hand.
This is a very good idea and very versatile, it is suitable for all needs and can change the adapter very easily. Your ideas are worth learning!
I live in MT as well and would love to see this in action!
right on !!! ...I can build anything but lack your imagination...thanks...God bless...doug (canada)
Super cool hammer. How do you think the anvil will do if you increase the ram weight?
This is amazing I'm assuming that you are and engender of sorts ??? This is really next level and I can't believe I have yet to see anything like this as many power hammer I've seen and studied , this is just brilliant .
I can't believe they're aren't more comments on this , the fact that you can pass an drift through the anvil is groundbreaking ,not to mention the adjustable ram , this is the most veritile hammer I've ever seen !!!!!
СТРАХОТЕН ЧУК
браво страхотно изпълнение много интересно
Have you been able to make improvements on the design since this was made? It would be amazing to see what you've done.
That is so FANTASTIC!!! It's just AMAZING!! Really really good!! Hats off to you!! And you are SOOOOOO right, there was virtually no intermediate-scale machines. It makes so much sense. There is so very much that regular folk could be doing to provide food. And the available agri land is disappearing at a ridiculous rate. I salute people like YOU so highly.
Quite an upgrade from the Tunturi de-huller! Would be curious to know how this one is separating the wheat from the chaff without using that original method of "grinding"?
This is a thresher, the other machine is a de-huller. You would need both to process grain. A full-size threshing machine incorporated both processes.
you should put a secondary pedal on it that will slide the stroke adjustment up and down. so you don't need to stop to adjust. I really dig all your hammers.
how much CFM does it need
Can you provide a contact e-mail or phone number to ask for further design information? Thanks! ;)
By far the best pneumatic hammer explanation I could find. Great work my friend. I cant wait to build one of those suckers
Any modifications or up dates
Молодцы ! хорошо сделана. Для сои подойдёт ? Can I get some plans ?God bless !
Oh, your web page is down as of this posting.
Talk about high production machine.
Great job on the power hammer fab. Like the electric control. Surprised you didn't put a treadle lift on the furnace door;0)
Jeffery Funk this is pretty amazing dude. I am working on the idea myself and thought that I was on an island - then I found your videos and realize that I am not the first guy to try to make a pedal-powered wheat threshing machine. As you are the forerunner - have you any advise now that this project is four years old for you?
well thats new never seen that before, inventive usually one has multiple presses or a trimming press with the hammer for closed die forging on the videos at least, did you build this yourself?
I really like your idea about having multiple hammers.
