North Texas Fossil Dude
США
Добавлен 26 окт 2011
Hey everyone. Thanks for stopping by and watching me and my sis do something we really enjoy. Fossil hunting has been something I have done here and there.
I have decided to kind of focus on one group of fossils. That is the Cephalopod family group of ammonites. They have to be the coolest looking fossil there is. So many shapes, sizes, textures. I currently have close to 90 different species from around the world. From smaller than a dime to 17 inches in diameter.
If you need any fossils prepping reach out to Kris at his website globalpaleoservice.wixsite.com/home or email globalpaleoservices@gmail.com. Not only awesome at prepping but he is a great guy. Let him know I mentioned contacting him.
If you have a good place to go fossil hunt and willing to share I am always looking for new areas. If you have an ammonite you don't want or would like to consider selling, reach out.
Lets go find some fossils!

Join me on my latest fossil hunting adventure in North Texas, where I uncovered three amazing Tylosaurus teeth-by far the best finds I've had in the last four years! These teeth are a rare and exciting glimpse into the prehistoric past of this incredible area.
It took two full days, but the rewards were definitely worth it. I hope you enjoy seeing these incredible teeth !

Просмотров 23728 дней назад
This is from a video I shot a couple years ago. That was my first point find. Think I have only found one more complete Gary point. I did go back and get that vertebrae that was right next to it after I viewed this. I was just stoked by the point!

its incredible how evolution comes up with the same adaptations. Not a mantis, but definitely looks like one.
I don't know about y'all, but I'm pretty sure.Praying mantises don't have lost bodies.That is a totally different creature altogether guys l o l
Damn dude thats so cool!!! Tho why would they need to mimic wasps??? Aint they terrifying enough in the eyes of a little insect?
That’s crazy 🤪
Must have been a serious love affair lol
It's male
I remember a time I was clearing land with an excavator, a praying mantis was attempting to jab jab jab the bucket as it got closer to the tree trunk to clear the shrubs around the tree.
they are rare but it's I believe a mantis wasp and yeah it's half praying mantis and have wasp
Ooh a creepy cross between both. So you were both right and wrong at the same time.
Wow ❗ that's pretty cool, never seen one like that, thanks for sharing
He said you keep filming his disguises he gone show you what these pinchers do😂
Who’s that Pokémon
Very very cool
You are lucky not to be a praying mantis too, otherwise she would have you for dinner. 😁
Holy ammonite fossil dude, that one against the wall is huge!
Looks like vomit 🤢
Very cool. I brought back 4 or 5 from Texas when I was there around 10 years ago. Not knowing much about fossils, I put them in my landscape. Bad idea, they disintegrated! 😢
I found one of these outside last summer, they are cool. Its not a praying mantis . I know because I'm afraid of them ever since a huge one got stuck on my face and it wouldnt get off. I was freaking out and kept trying to swat it off but it held on with its sticky feet forever. Then my kid caught 2 and put them in his bug house to observe. Well we saw the one attack the other and rip its head off and eat it . Praying mantis are deadly in the bug world.
WTF is that?!?!?!
That’s a mutation of a bee and some other fuck up bug we have to be careful with theses crazy scientists creating anything to infect us human 😮😮
come on people tell me do you know what this is? it's a mantis that came across with a wasp simple as that we do it as well as human if we do it why they can't? lol
This bug is called the Red Wast, yankee language Red wasp. It is not a prating manticode
I thought the bug was on top of the vehicle, you know, the ones that look like a trash can Lol I thought this was going to be a video about his car 🚜
Footnote: That's actually a type of Mantispidae called a Wasp Mantidfly. Which is a mantis with wings.
I Think that it's a Transformer Disguised as a Praying-Mantis.
Wow
Ok. That's a first for me!
😮😮😮😮😮
We all know who that wasps popi is😅
Looked like a Yellow jacket at first to cool.
¡Chingón!
As long as it stays tiny…Im good
Hybrid waspmantis
At the end it's like 😀 ta-da. I will now show you my true form
U😮 , he is eating it, stay away
You look closely it's a wasp eating a praying mantis
It's a wasp eating a praying mantis
God's creation is truly AWESOME!!
"The brown wasp mantidfly (Climaciella brunnea) is an insect that looks like a cross between a praying mantis and a wasp, but is actually neither"
I hope it's not one of those African Wasps? They are dangerously aggressive.
That is not a praying mantis, it might be a rare bug of some sort.
That's a hybrid. Experiment by the government and others!!
Wow!!! That's so cool😮 mantises are so cool they just keep amazing me!😅
lol I just seen it's a wasp mantid fly, still mantis family id guess? Either way a really cool find!
Hey there don't mind me I'm just shadow boxing
That's a Ima fuck you up if you come closer kinda mfr
😂😂🤣🤣
The mantis is no ordinary insect.
I've seen a lot of Praying Mantis in my life but I've never seen one do that! Wow! It looks just like a wasp or hornet!
I’m sure you have some new species of Mantis yet to be recorded in the ecosystem of this type of creature but I am curious to know if there is some recent evidence that it has been recorded
Rare one called bullshit wasp
WOW!!!! UR BLESSED ❤❤❤❤
