I don’t even know where to begin. We got deployed a week ago, and everything I thought I knew about war, about the world-it’s all upside down. This isn’t like anything we trained for. It’s not like anything anyone’s seen. We were sent to a city-I can’t say where, OPSEC and all that. We thought it was the usual. The rumors we’d been hearing about riots, civil unrest, maybe some kind of outbreak? None of it made sense, but we figured it’d be nothing a little show of force couldn’t handle. How wrong we were. When we rolled in, it was chaos. Streets were empty, buildings on fire, no real command structure. Just this eerie silence. We could hear things though, distant sounds-screaming, glass breaking, gunfire. The kind of stuff that chills you right to the bone. Civilians were scattered, some trying to board up their houses, others fleeing with whatever they could carry. It wasn’t long before we realized there was no real enemy to fight. Not the kind we’re used to, anyway. At first, it was just a few people, stumbling toward us from an alleyway. They looked sick, like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Pale, blank stares, blood on their clothes. We called out for them to stop, to lay down, but they just kept coming. It was all wrong. They weren’t moving like humans, Emma. They were moving like animals, faster than they should’ve been able to, without any hesitation or fear. We fired warning shots. Still nothing. When they got closer, I saw their faces. Their eyes were empty, lifeless. No recognition, no fear. Just hunger. That's the best way I can describe it-a hunger I can't shake from my mind. The first one lunged at Rodriguez, bit down on his arm before we even had a chance to react. It took four of us to pull him off, and by the time we got him clear, more were pouring out of the alley. Dozens of them. All moving the same way. We opened fire. You know me, Em, I’ve seen combat. I’ve seen what bullets can do to a body. But these... creatures, they didn’t stop. You shoot them in the chest, they keep coming. The only thing that worked was a shot to the head. Some of the guys panicked, spraying rounds everywhere, but it was like trying to stop a tidal wave with a water pistol. Rodriguez was screaming, blood everywhere. I dragged him into the Humvee, but I knew it was bad. Real bad. We fell back to a defensive position, but it didn’t matter. They just kept coming. No tactics, no plan-just overwhelming numbers. We lost half our squad in minutes. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was like they weren’t human anymore. Maybe they never were. I don't know. We finally got the order to retreat, but by then, the city was crawling with them. It was all we could do to get out of there. We left so many people behind. Civilians, soldiers, people who were just trying to survive. I keep thinking about the faces of those we couldn't save. The guilt, Emma, it's like a weight I can’t shake. Rodriguez didn’t make it. He turned a few hours after we pulled out. We had him quarantined, but by the time we realized what was happening, it was too late. He wasn’t Rodriguez anymore. We had to put him down. I don’t know what this is. We’re not getting a lot of information from command, but the rumors are spreading. They’re saying it’s everywhere. Not just this city-other towns, other countries. It’s like the world is falling apart, piece by piece, and no one knows how to stop it. We’re just barely holding the line. I’m scared, Em. I won’t lie. This is different. This isn’t just a war. I don’t even know if you can call it that. There’s no negotiating, no reasoning, no fighting back in the way we’re used to. You can’t fight something that doesn’t feel fear, that doesn’t get tired, that doesn’t care about pain. We’re trained for a lot of things, but not this. I keep thinking about you, about home. The world feels so distant, like everything I used to know is gone. I don’t know when I’ll be back, or if I’ll be back at all. There’s talk of this thing spreading faster than we can contain it. I don’t know what’s real anymore. Some of the guys are saying this might be the end. I try not to think about that, but it’s hard when you’ve seen what I’ve seen. Please stay safe, Emma. Lock the doors, don’t trust anyone. I don’t know how far this thing has spread, but if it’s anything like what we’ve seen here, it’s only a matter of time. I don’t want to scare you, but you need to be prepared. If you hear anything about outbreaks, don’t wait. Get out of the city. Head somewhere remote, somewhere isolated. I don’t know when I’ll be able to write again. I don’t even know if this will get to you. But if it does, know that I love you. No matter what happens, I love you, and I’ll do everything I can to get back to you. Stay strong for me. For us. Forever yours, Tom.

This is by far the best orchestrated song I have ever heard for pirates of the Caribbean on stranger tides I am in love with song completely because of the great captain jack sparrow who I want him to return to the pirates films and since I've come to realize that Disney is rebooting the pirates film with no original cast coming back to do more for whatever reason which I don't know why they won't bring the original cast back but they should because the original casts who started it all should all come back and finish the entire pirates films until the very end they complete the entire movies because the rebooted movie of the next pirates film is going to flop so hard that the fans are going to say we want Johnny back so if they want him back I want him back as well because he was born to play captain Jack sparrow and so far he can finish the entire pirates films and make all the pirates films perfect and good.
