Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but make a note: Several of the IPA winners even this year (2024) won first place in their category with your "too old" 5D series. Mostly the 5Ds-R which is still an amazing camera. I love how hobbyists/beginners will say this camera or that is not good enough to take good images when Ansel Adams and Henri Cartier-Bresson had basically a box with a lens and film inside and there are few photographers that can top them even today.

I bought it new when it came out. Still use it. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of photos. Use with Canon 600L F4, 300L F4, 70-200L F2.8, 100F2.8 Macro, 50mm 1.4, 25-104L. You have to learn to adjust your color balance with photos but video is spot on. It’s a great camera and worth checking out if you’re in the market for a used Canon. Very reliable!

I still use this with Sigma primes. The colors are gorgeous. Beats the Canon R, which I use as my second camera.

To the content creator - Have you looked at the rendering from this glorious sensor? I waste countless hours futilely trying to get my Sony mirrorless photos to look like they were shot on a Canon 5d m2. Family portrait clients routinely gasp with delight when they first see their images made with this beautiful camera (the reactions are still positive with Sony but not just gasps of utter delight as with the 5dm2) and you are worried about *burst *rate??
